Von Flotow, composer Introit Largo Triosonate Loeillet Polly Monson, Marty Farahat - Flutes Steve Perry, Clarinet Call to Worship One: Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits. Many: You forgive all our iniquity, you heal all our diseases, you redeem our lives from the pit and crown us with steadfast love and mercy. You satisfy us with good as long as you live so our youth is renewed like the eagle s. One: The Lord works vindication and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel. Many: The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Hymn No. 662 Stand Up and Bless The Lord Children s Moment Prayer of Confession Pastor: Let us join together in our Prayer of Confession: All: Loving and merciful God, we confess that we have not lived honestly before the world. We have presented a false picture of who you really are. God, this is often because we do not see you clearly ourselves. Change our hearts, O God. Let us live lives that emulate our Savior so the world may see you and come to know you. May we live only to make your name great. Amen. Special Music Allegre Triosonate Loeillet Polly Monson, Marty Farahat - Flutes Steve Perry, Clarinet Joys and Concerns Pastoral Prayer and Thanksgiving The Lord s Prayer Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Offertory Close To Thee B. Price, composer Doxology Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. Praise Him all creatures here below. Praise Him above, ye heavenly host. Praise, Father, Son and Holy Ghost. Amen. Scripture Reading Luke 13:10-17 Virginia Mothes Liturgist: This is the word of the Lord. People: Thanks be to God. Sermon Redemption Pastor David M. Burgeson Affirmation of Faith from hymnal #883 Hymn No. 430 O Master Let Me Walk With Thee Benediction Pastor David M. Burgeson One: You are the salt of the earth. Many: But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything but to be taken out and trampled underfoot. One: You are the light of the world. Many: A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. One: In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Amen. Postlude In His Holy Name C. Nordman, composer
