Monday, November 1 Isaiah 43:18,19 Pray for the Campus for Christ ministry as we embark on a new campus at the University of Victoria in British Columbia. Tuesday, November 2 Isaiah 43:6,7 Pray that the thousands of students who received Soul Cravings Prequel Kits will understand and receive the gospel through these kits. Wednesday, November 3 Isaiah 43:5 May God be glorified as we develop, coordinate, and launch a FamilyLife single parent ministry manual for church ministry. Thursday, November 4 Isaiah 43:18-21 Praise God! He has enabled us to drill 294+ African water wells for 294,000 people! Pray for our drilling teams in Benin, Togo, and Tanzania. Friday, November 5 Isaiah 43:1,2 Haiti is still in desperate need! One pastor says his nation is on life support. Pray for our teams traveling there over the next few months. Saturday, November 6 Isaiah 43:12 Ask God to reach not-yet-believers at Toronto, Ottawa and Vancouver Leadership Forums as speakers share personal stories of His impact on their lives. Sunday, November 7 Isaiah 43:10 Our online mentoring program is going through significant growth, particularly in the area of teens. Please pray for additional qualified teen mentors. Monday, November 8 Isaiah 43:3 Pray for the Intercultural Network to engage many new ministry financial partners as we will be having many appointments in the near future. Tuesday, November 9 Isaiah 43:11 Pray for Connecting Streams staff, ministering to women in prison, to be filled with the knowledge of God and strengthened with all power. 2
At Power to Change Ministries, we have been praying for increased effectiveness in reaching Canada and the world. Our prayer is that we would be innovative and relevant in all our ways of evangelism and discipleship. Our desire and corporate prayer throughout this past year has been that all of our activities would bear much fruit. We have seen God opening up doors for us to unleash our creativity and approach evangelism with a new angle. In partnership with American pastor, Erwin McManus, Power to Change has developed a new tool to engage with non-christians Soul Cravings Prequel. Based on McManus book Soul Cravings, this new resource connects people s innermost desires for intimacy, destiny and meaning to God. Earlier this year, the world came to Vancouver for the Winter Olympic Games. We successfully deployed a Soul Cravings strategy to engage spectators from all around the world. Approaching non-christians in this new way allowed us to engage many people in spiritual conversations and present the gospel to them. This past summer, our Campus ministry, in response to many prayers, began an Innovate Project to develop new tools and strategies for the university campus. Campus for Christ created new Real Life Kits which included Soul Cravings Prequel, a New Testament and a redesigned Knowing God Personally booklet. The MyCravings campaign has been hugely successful, and we have been seeing more people coming to Christ on university campuses than ever before! We also partnered with Erwin McManus to produce Crave:The Documentary, which explores the spiritual climate of Canada by interviewing people from all walks of life from some of the most influential people in Vancouver, to artists and bartenders. The resulting documentary reminds us as Christians that we must come alongside people and understand the spiritual journey they are already on. These new resources give Christians a new angle of approach, and we have developed training to help Christians across Canada to engage with our culture. These resources also have given us new ways to engage with the Church, by training them in evangelism and discipleship. God is working in the lives of people in Canada, and we are continually praying for His Spirit to move in this nation and beyond. Wednesday, November 10 Isaiah 43:25 Pray for a great wave of salvation across Canada, with thousands meeting Jesus right where they are and overwhelmed by His love. Thursday, November 11 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 Pray for Athletes in Action as we move ahead with the Total Athlete Academy, which will disciple many young athletes. Friday, November 12 Acts 12:24 Pray as DRIME (Disciples Read in Mobile Evangelism) launches another chapter in Alberta with extensions in Paraguay, Benin and San Diego. Saturday, November 13 Joshua 1:6,7 Pray for the LeaderImpact Group as we move ahead with a dynamic, relevant young professional strategy in Vancouver, British Columbia. 4
Leadership Team Goals To see true transformation in Canada and around the world, the movement must begin at home. Every day, as ordinary people go about their lives in their schools, offices, stores, and streets, they can have an impact for Jesus Christ that can transform their community. Power to Change has a vision to see millions of these seemingly ordinary people engaged in Faith Adventures that transform lives through the power of the gospel. In 2010-2011, Power to Change will launch this bold, new vision by helping people everywhere reach their world with innovative training, resources and events. In order to mobilize God s people, Power to Change strives to generate high-level engagement among Christians by creating exposure to our message, products and Faith Adventure opportunities in multiple arenas. By organizing our ministry activity into Canadian and international zones, we will create the framework to drive forward collaborative ministry in a localized way that will spread across Canada and around the world. The end result will be a more focused and strategic effort in planning, budgeting, and defining goals and timelines. Sunday, November 14 Mark 6:30-32 Pray for the new directors of Oasis Retreats as they design retreats for professionals in ministry to receive refreshment and rejuvenation. Monday, November 15 Joshua 1:8,9 Pray for the Intercultural Network as we look to expand our activity from Vancouver and Edmonton and into a new base in Toronto. Tuesday, November 16 1 Timothy 6:17-19 Please pray that the Holy Spirit will direct and empower many more ministry volunteers to fully engage in our Faith Adventures. Wednesday, November 17 Acts 16:9,10 Pray for the staff of Athletes in Action, DRIME and GAiN as we collaborate to present the gospel to the people of Paraguay and Africa. 5
Thursday, November 18 2 Corinthians 11:26-29 Hold us up in prayer continually as we establish relationships with local churches, to help them reach their communities with the gospel. Friday, November 19 1 Timothy 2:3-6 Pray for Soul Cravings to be effective at training believers in how to build relationships and to share their faith with non-believers. Saturday, November 20 1 Timothy 2:1,2 Pray for the Breakthrough Prayer ministry as we seek to unite believers across Canada in prayer for their communities, cities and country. Sunday, November 21 Luke 19:9 May churches across Canada find Crave:The Documentary inspiring and helpful in encouraging their congregation to reach out to the lost. Ted Wilcox Worldwide Challenge Monday, November 22 Luke 19:1-8 Pray for staff members as they engage in fund raising for the ministry, that God will bless their efforts and people will answer His call to give. Tuesday, November 23 Matthew 19:13-14 Pray that children who attended Athletes in Action sports camps this summer will come to desire a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Wednesday, November 24 Matthew 19:27-30 Pray that many more soccer and basketball coaches will respond enthusiastically to participation in Athletes in Action sports camps. Thursday, November 25 Acts 16:30-34 Ask God to abundantly bless Transforming Paraguay Together as they run nutrition stations and share the gospel with children and families. Friday, November 26 Acts 17:11,12 Pray for Truthmedia s fundraising efforts to develop an itv network featuring video from all domains, to engage people in Faith Adventures. 6

Sunday, November 28 Malachi 3:10 Ask our Heavenly Father to grant wisdom to the new FamilyLife directors as they set the vision and provide leadership for the ministry. Monday, November 29 Colossians 1:9 Pray that Campus for Christ international projects will get the number of staff members and all funds needed to go on these outreach projects. Tuesday, November 30 Colossians 1:21-23 Pray that God would create a nationwide movement among Canada s people, one of softened hearts and minds receptive to the gospel. 7
