What are the values, goals and motivations behind those who are Pro-Choice and what can we do to best address this complex and often hostile audience? Dear Women of St. Joseph, On the weekend of September 26-27, we the Women of St. Joseph s Christ Renews His Parish Team 23 will be hosting the fall retreat at the Cardinal Stritch Retreat House in Mundelein. The theme for the weekend is We are inviting everyone to join us to feel God s love with us. If you have already attended a Christ Renews His Parish weekend in our parish, great. Some women have attended a weekend more than once. If you feel this is not your time to attend, perhaps you know someone who God is calling to attend so we ask you to share this information with them. The retreat is open to all women of St. Joseph Parish and should space provide, we will welcome others from outside of our parish to join us. The Cardinal Stritch Retreat House is a place to reflect, to pray and to rest. This setting truly provides the quiet so necessary to listen to God s call and feel His embrace. The Retreat House has ground level access with plenty of parking, elevator access to all floors, and a beautiful chapel. The lovely grounds include deer and a host of other creatures. Each attendee will have their own room for the night with a full bed and a shower. You will be comfortable and pampered all weekend at this special place right here in our own neighborhood. The Team has been planning and preparing since April for this weekend and look forward to meeting each one of you. We hope you can join us to feel God s embrace and harvest His many blessings. Everyone who comes will meet wonderful women and enjoy their fellowship during the weekend. We hope you will prayerfully consider attending and maybe even bring a friend. Should you be interested in attending, visit the parish website to register. Space is limited and we have set a registration deadline of Wednesday, September 23. 8
