Psalm 19:14 ESV When we read or hear God s Word being read it is not enough just to read or listen. We must take into consideration that God speaks directly to us through His Word. We are supposed to take to heart and meditate on what God is saying to us. His Word, as the Psalmist tells us, is perfect, sure, right, pure, true, and righteous. Furthermore, we are told to value His Word more than fine gold. Through His Word we learn about our sinful nature, but more importantly, we learn of His greatness and His forgiveness and grace. Let us praise and thank Him in our corporate and private worship. Through the Holy Spirit, our words will be acceptable to God, though they stumble or fail.
