The Scriptures tell us that JESUS was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness, to be tempted and to be confronted by the spiritual forces of evil. What seems to be very unusual here is that Jesus goes into the wilderness not because He decided to do so, on His own, but because THE SPIRIT OF GOD led Him there.
