This surveillance system is meant to help keep our Church property, as well as all members and visitors to our Parish as safe as possible. God Bless, Fr. Gary At our Annual Memorial Mass and Reading of the Names of the deceased, those who have died and have been buried from our parish community this past year will be remembered in a special way Where: OLMM, Hampton When: Sunday. November 11th. Mass will begin at 10:30am All are invited to attend this Special Tribute dedicated to our beloved family members and friends. The Twenty-Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time - October 21, 2018 Faith Formation Class Times "Is it possible for the Church to be holy if it is made up of imperfect and hypocritical people?" "Isn't it very elitist and duplicitous of the Church to say it is perfect, despite the many judgmental people that are a part of it?" During this Life Night we will look at how the Church remains perfect, despite the imperfect people within the Church, and how the Church is mean to help us grow and pursue holiness in our everyday lives. Sunday, October 21st 10:15-11:30am for grades K-5 - SHS Classrooms 10:15-11:30am for grades 6-8 EDGE - SHS Gym 4:45-6:45pm Life Teen Life Night - Marian Hall Tuesday, October 23rd 6:00-7:15pm for grades 1-5 SHS Classrooms 6:00-7:15pm for grades 6-8 EDGE Marian Hall Sunday, October 28th 10:15-11:30am for grades K-5 - SHS Classrooms 10:15-11:30am for grades 6-8 EDGE - SHS Gym 4:45-6:45pm Life Teen Life Night - Marian Hall Tuesday, October 30th NO CLASSES - HAPPY HALLOWEEN! We look forward to seeing you there! Invite your friends too! For any questions or to sign up, please contact Chris Fortin at cfortin@olmmparish.org QUILT RAFFLE WINNER The winner of the Quilt Raffle was David Paradis from Virginia. He is the son of Marty Paradis who is an OLMM parishioner. The $2,146 proceeds of this raffle will be used to benefit our parish. The winning ticket was drawn Sept. 29th after the 4pm Mass at OLMM by Robert McDonald, whose wife Marcia, had initiated the quilt project but suddenly passed away just before the raffle drawing on Sept. 29th (a date arbitrarily chosen for the drawing but learned later to happen to be Marcia McDonald s birthday). Many thanks to all who contributed to this successful quilt raffle. Red Cross Blood Drive The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive on Thursday, October 25th from 12pm to 5pm at OLMM. We ll be working together to give back to the community in a truly life changing way, since each donation we collect can save up to three lives. There are many ways you can help, but most importantly we hope you come out to donate! To schedule an appointment, please call 1-800REDCROSS or visit redcrossblood.org We are in need of lectors and Eucharistic Ministers at OLMM and St. Elizabeth. Has Something Changed?? Below is just one of the many CD titles available in our Lighthouse Media Collection: A Mind at Peace Are you increasingly frustrated and perplexed in this digital age? Do you yearn for a mind that is more focused and a soul able to put down that IPhone and simply rejoice in the good and the true? It s not hard to do. The saints and the wise can show you how; this book makes their counsel available to you. A balanced approach that, rather than rejecting technology outright, calls for cultivating a character that is equipped to deal with our modern age. The insights of the saints and other wise people from the past can help us in the cultivation of the virtues we need. ***The media kiosk is now located in the Parish Office and has many items available for purchase. *** Have you moved, or changed your phone number? Do you now use online giving and would rather not receive envelopes anymore? Be sure to call the Parish Office at 926-2206 to let us know about the changes in your life so we can update our records! Thanks! We kindly ask for a donation of $4.00 per book (or otherwise specified suggested donation), $3.00 per CD, $2.00 per booklet and $0.50 per pamphlet so that we may continue this program. Please make all checks out to OLMM. Won t you reach out and help bring someone home? Highlighting Our Advertisers Did you know that St. Anthony s Bakery advertises on the back pages of our bulletin?
