PW Coordinating Team PW Back to School Project Presbyterian Women will once again be providing paper products to Prairie Central Schools in honor of Grace Masterson. They will purchase paper towels and boxes of tissues for all of the schools except the High School. The High School does not need paper towels, but they will get extra Kleenex. These items are much needed and appreciated in the area schools. Christian Education News Sunday School Helpers Needed! Sunday School will be starting again before you know it! We are in need of people willing to be Sunday School helpers this year. Being a helper is truly an easy and fun way to be involved in growing the spiritual lives of our children. If you are interested in helping, please contact Robin Buchenau. Sunday School Registration Forms Sunday School will start again on Sunday, September 13th. Sunday School Registration forms are available in the narthex. One form per family is all that is needed. Please complete them and return them to the church office (they can be placed in Alyssa s box). We would like them back by August 17th so we can plan for classes in the fall. Sunday Morning Adult Class The Adult Sunday School class is taking the summer off, but get ready to start back up in the fall! Wednesday Bible Study This group meets every Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. They are studying Ray Vander Laan s Faith Lessons DVD series. John 3:16 This group of couples with children meets once a month for fellowship and study. Free childcare is provided. They are studying a video on marriage called Love & Respect. John 3:16 will meet on Friday, August 28that 6:00 p.m. at the home of Spencer & Alyssa Homan 313 E Wanda Lane., Fairbury Koinonia κοινωνία Back to Sunday School! Sunday School will start up again on September 13th. Can t wait to see you then! A faith, food, and fellowship class aimed at 40-50 something s meets on the 1st Friday of the month. 5th Sunday Brunch Potluck Plan on staying after Coffee House Worship on August 30 for a potluck brunch. Please bring breakfast dishes, fruit, muffins, rolls, quick breads, etc. to share. It will be a great way to end up summer worship. Hope to see you there! Sunday, August 30th The Mission Trip team will share their experiences in Colorado during a special worship service on Sunday, August 9th. The available funds will be divided equally among all the qualifying students. Prairie Central Music Trip Join PC Music supporters on an amazing day trip, Nuts, Dining & Musical Extravaganza, on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. You ll enjoy traveling to Elgin, IL with a stop at the Fisher Nut Company s Outlet Store. The highlight of the trip is a tour of Mr. Jasper Sanfilippo's private museum and residence "Place de la Musique" where you ll see the largest collection of restored automated musical instruments in the world! The trip includes deluxe motor coach transportation, a wonderful lunch served in a first class dining car, venue admission, and gratuity for both lunch and the driver. A deposit of $50 per person is required with your reservation, and the remaining balance of $100 is due on August 28. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Prairie Central Music Boosters in their support of music programs throughout the district.
