Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our Sovereign, sing praises. For God is Sovereign over all the earth; sing praises with all your skill. God reigns over the nations; God sits upon heaven s holy throne. Let us worship God! HYMN No. 263 All Hail the Power of Jesus Name! CORONATION GREETING Pastor Bruce Gillette PRAYER OF CONFESSION-(UNISON) Eternal God, you meet us as we are. Forgive us our unwillingness to be your disciples without counting the cost. You ask us to serve you and yet we think of every reason why we should not serve. We have not fully understood your suffering for our sake. We have strayed from you way and done only those things that come easy. Challenge us to be bold in our living for you. We have neglected your truth while pursuing the whims of the world. Open our minds to understand your words and ways. Strengthen us to live according to your hold word. Through Christ, our teacher and healer. Amen. ANTHEMS: O God, You Speak Your Beauty Every Hour Howard Helvey The Overbrook Choir O God, you speak your beauty every hour, from soaring peaks to valleys fed by springs. In every living soul and fragrant flower your handiwork is seen creation sings! As people in your image, we aspire and live to mirror your creative fire. O risen Christ, we seek to understand the vastness of your wide embracing love. With mercy from your gentle, guiding hand we move from depths below to heights above. May we, with hearts uplifted by your grace, extend your love to every land and race. O Spirit, giving breath to all the earth, we grow in strength from your clear flame. O Wind of Heaven, recalled at our rebirth, the world awaits the unity we claim. With zeal we strive assisted by your might, to fill the earth with ever lasting Light. I believe in the Holy Spirit; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection the body, and the life everlasting. Amen

Congregational Picnic-Sunday, June 11th- following worship. There will be food, fellowship, music and games. Two Before One Rule: Do you know this rule? Take the challenge to practice it now at church. Two before One means that you talk to two persons you don t know well or at all before you talk to one you do know. In this way you might just greet a first time visitor and get a chance to know him or her. Or you may make a new friend among the members of the congregation. Two before one puts the other before ourselves. Two before one extends the open hand and heart of fellowship.
