I want to extend my sincerest appreciation for the hospitality and grace demonstrated to the children and staff of the Ugandan Kids Choir during their recent visit to your church! You may already be aware, but your congregation profoundly blessed us with their generosity. Your church donated $1429.36 to children in need and sponsored 4 children! We praise the Lord for the lives that will be changed because of your wonderful gifts. May God richly bless you and your congregation for caring so much! - Vickie Mickelson, Choir Ministry Coordinator September 17, 2017 Did you know???? That as early as 1865 Methodist were holding services in Seward County in groves of trees near the Blue River? The old Methodist Church, located at 3rd & Jackson, was a classic landmark in Seward. It was dedicated on June 1, 1890. (This is now the location of the Seward Fire Department.) In 1913, the women s organization of the church appointed a committee to confer with ladies of other churches in regard to drafting a petition protesting Sunday baseball games.
