In prison for over 4 years, Joshua Webb became the worship leader for the chapel services for the inmates. Josh has a background in Construction and Landscaping and has restarted his business now that he is on this side of the bars. But, Josh s focus is on the ministry aspect of who he is to become. He has already become part of our ShadeTree music team. Ken Chinn has donated guitars for ministry purposes and blessed Webb with this fine instrument. Ken has also donated two acoustic guitars for our team to take to Angola (pictured right with Clay Perkins). Pray for Joshua Webb in his new found freedom in Christ and this walk through life. Angola Prison Ministry Team Lined Up Please be in prayer for PPM s team as they prepare for the upcoming trip to South Louisiana. The new chaplain has asked them to visit Camp J, which in all accounts, is a pretty rough camp. The Team has never been privileged to minister in Camp J. Specific things for which to pray- 1. Safety 2. PPM team 3. Angola s new chaplain 4. The inmates in Camp J 5. The new Warden of Angola 6. Teams Families at home

M a y 2 0 1 7! jesus said Go J ES US BURG ER Some of Tina s Treasures find new homes... Tina Cooper has a distinct gift of finding things that others would look over, and she finds value in those items. She found three bicycles, had them repaired, and brought them to ShadeTree to folks that could use them for transportation. The bikes where, and are such a blessing. Do we think along the lines of how our finds can bless others? Me? I wish I did as much as my precious sister. A word from TERRY JACKSON, Longview s city attorney... Tina Cooper pictured with Chris Owens Chris Owens (pictured left with Terry Jackson) is a young man who went through a difficult time in which he received several traffic citations he was unable to pay. Chris was assigned community service as a means to resolve the traffic citations. Perkins Partnership Ministries accepted Chris and agreed to monitor his community service, assigning him to Shade Tree Ministries (Jesus Burger). Chris worked with Jesus Burger volunteers and is now the first and only person to complete the City of Longview Community Service Program. Chris now attends church, is seeking career employment, and continues to attend Jesus Burger, thanks to the ministry of Perkins Partnership Ministries. M a y 2 0 1 7! jesus said Go J ES US BURG ER C O NT... City Attorney Takes Service Seriously Longview s Terry Jackson is a cornerstone for service at Jesus Burger. He ministers to everyone he meets with a warm hug and hallelujah. He has not only the gift of encouragement, but also the gift of service. Thank you Mr. Jackson. We also understand he can also preach and sing! Scott Hamilton, Longview s Premier Home Builder (below) Scott has taken what he calls Martha-ville and streamlined the burger building process. He plans, picks up, processes, and provides oversight in the putting these patty creations together. No one does it better or has more heart for the lost. Jim (Jim pictured to right) With medical expertise in heart caths, Jim worked at Good Shepherd for over 23 years, he found himself searching for the answer to life s most important question. While living at the Hwy 80 Rescue Mission, PPM had the opportunity to minister to Jim. God used our partners to speak life to him and encourage him. He is now living in the construction trailer at ShadeTree, serving others and telling people about Jesus and how the Lord delivered him from all of his distress. Straight out of Psalms 40:2, He picked (Jim) up out of the miry clay and placed his feet on the rock. PPM Newsletter 1125 Judson Plaza Ste 182 Longview, TX 903.236.9839

HWY 80 SERVICE Loaves and Fishes... The Lord takes the little and makes it much. Your faithful giving provides the resourses for a wonderful hot meal to these appreciative men. Renee Hamilton (Perkins) and Hank & Lisa Boswell put an unbelievable meal together filled with Meat and Love. PPM has the opportunity to share Jesus with these men, encourage, and pray with them. Family Night Feeding To give our precious partners a break over the holidays, the Perkins family is blessed to cook and serve the meal. It s more of a blessing to those who serve than those being served. Pictured Left; Mathis Hamilton, Tina Cooper, Madison, Makenna, Caden, Stacey (girl), and Rylan Perkins.

CLASSIC PRAISE IN VIRGINIA Rehearsal in Virginia Before the event it s always good, AND important, AND smart, to do a sound check with instrumentation, mics, and voices. This process usually takes between 2 and 3 hours to accomplish our objective. Classic Praise typically arrives late the night prior to the event, and the sound is ready to check by 9 A.M. the following morning. The three session event organized by David and Cindy Lane, begins with lunch and ends about 10 P.M. and the following morning, go through music about 6:20 A.M. As soon as the event concludes, head to the airport and catch the first available flight home. There is no time for rest. Daddy Dale says you can sleep when we get home. Well, some of us can. Others are called to be mothers, housewives, business owners, or ministers. Second thought, none of us have time to sleep when we get home. This is a great group with which to travel. Great talent, attitude and most importantly, called to minister. Thank you for praying (pictured above lft to rt.)- Jeannie Ritchie, Susan Avery, Wes Markum, Alese Odom, Jack Goetz, Chrissy Anthony, Renee Hamilton, Dale Perkins, Ginger Miller, Paula McKinley (keyboard), Eric (Ekko) Taylor (drums), Ronnie Hearn (guitar) Classic through. signed Tired, but blessed member of Classic Praise Below, Classic Praise Singing Light of That City (Pictured Below Left to Right) Mignon Perkins, Chrissy Anthony, Stephanie Terry, Cleveland Brown, Adam Perkins, Wes Markum, Dale Perkins ll, Jeannie Richie, Clay Perkins, Renee Hamilton, Ginger Miller
