Passover Servioes at the Temple Passover begins on Wednesday evening, April 3rd with the first Seder. While the seders whioh we oonduot in our homes are a signifioant part of our Passover oelebration, the servioes whioh are held in the Temple are no less important. Our servioe or the first day of Passover will be oonduoted on Thursday morning, April 4th at 10:00 a.m., and our servioe for the last day of Passover, whioh inoludes Yizkor, will be oonduoted, on Wednesday morning, April 10th at 10:00 a.m. Here are a few suggestions for making your seder more interesting. They oome from Rabbi Jeffrey Sirkman and were published in a reoent edition of UAHC "Outreaoh Conneotions." In the tradition of Rebbe Naphtali of Ropshitz, ask eaoh person at your seder to pour a bit of wine into an empty oup of Elijah, as you pass it around the table, thus filling the oup of promise with your own efforts. Onoe the oup is filled, and the Elijah ceremony--complete with the singing of Eliahu Ha-Navi, is through, ask people... How will we know when Elijah oomes? When it oomes time to read the Ten Plagues, ask those around your table to make up their own Ten Plagues and disouss how they impact our world today. Make up your own Four Questions, going around the table asking people the most important question they think you should ask at this point in the seder, at this point in your lives. When it oomes time to read the passage about the Four Children, ask the partioipants in the seder whioh ohild they most identify with. Make your seder your own in any way you oan... Take these hints, oombine them with your own, and bring the Haggadah to life! And while you're at it, have a very sweet Pesaoh.

Sunday School Students deliver "Shalach Manot" On Sunday morning, March 3rd, the children in our Sunday School performed the "mitzvah" of "shalach manot," by delivering Purim packages to the homebound individuals in our community who receive "meals on wheels." Under the guidance of their teacher, Jessica Silber, and with the help of their parents, the students delivered baskets of hamantashen and candy. Thank you to our children, their parents and Jessica for organizing this important project.
