S Kelynack (Conference President) JUBILEE OF MERCY FOR PRISONERS A big thank you to those who gave me some money last weekend to spend on inmates needs. This Year of Mercy and the generosity of members of the community have visibly touched the inmates at Goulburn Correctional Centre and myself. A big part of the men being able to turn their lives around when they are released is to maintain or establish a good relationship with family members. This money will enable me to buy stamps so that they can send Christmas cards and write to family and friends. The inmates pray for you all often as they appreciate this and other spiritual resources continually donated by member of this community. Many blessings and thank you for your generosity. Chaplain J Kelly QOP NEW ROSTERS Nov-Dec 2016 New rosters are available from the magazine rack in Queen of Peace Church foyer. Copy of roster already emailed to those who have email. Hornsby Cathedral Parish The Memento Book (Great Christmas Gift!) Celebrating 100 Years of Faith in The Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy is now complete and will be available for purchase from the parish office at a cost of $10.00 per copy. We thank those who sent in stories sincerely for the contribution you made to this publication and your generosity in sharing your story, your photos and most importantly, your memories. It has been no easy task to edit this 72 page book and keep it truthful, informative, readable and enjoyable. Several submissions covered the same ground as others, these were edited and some stories were shortened due to space available. This is inevitable when preparing any publication and we trust that the result is fair and has remained true to the author s intent. So that the book could be of high print quality, yet still reasonably priced for all, we have limited the book s length and the initial print run to 600 copies. The Memento Book is available from: The Piety stall (2nd weekend of the month after all Masses). Cathedral parish office during office hours. Phone: 9483 2300 Can be posted to you - please contact Cathedral Parish office on 9483 2300 to arrange payment via credit card. Cost $15 which includes $5 postage. The Editorial Committee
