SERVICE: Love Given We believe that servant hood gives us opportunity to meet Jesus in the lives and needs of others. Hands of Mercy s mission is to strengthen the Body of Christ by disciplining families and individuals to love others in tangible way. This is accomplished through loft houses. A loft house is prefabricated in church parking lots in the US and assembled in Mexico in a day. Though not luxurious by any definition, a loft house gives some basic protection and shelter from the elements. A loft house is a 12 foot by 12 foot structure with 4 windows, a lockable door and a second story attic loft for sleeping that is reached by an interior stair system. The River is hosting two loft houses in January and assembling the house in Mexico in February. Compassion for people, Passion for Christ is HOM s motto. If you interested in participating, join us for an experience you will never forget? We look forward to hearing from you. Contact Jim or Chris Nydam if you would like to participate in the upcoming Hands of Mercy Trip or would like more information. OFFERING SCHEDULE: The people of The River believe in investing in outreach activities. One of the ways that we do this is by supporting both financially and prayerfully a number of different organizations, ministries and Christian groups.
