WORDS FROM THE EAST 2016 Lodge Officers My Brothers, It is that time of year where we must resume our labors in the lodge. I hope most of you found this time off refreshing. Our trustees unfortunately were called upon to handle repairs to the lodge water main, basement and heaters. I know our secretary and treasurer were both busy with Grand Lodge reports and bills. I am absolutely certain the officers were diligently looking over their ritual books and have their parts committed to memory. Thank you to all of you who have kept this lodge running over the summer break. You have all heard the term it takes a village usually referring to raising a child, but it can also refer to a Masonic Lodge. In our case, each one of us is a member of the village. By the Grace of God, we are given certain talents and skills. Alone, one man can only do so much, but united into a Lodge we can do more. One man s weakness is another man s strength. We belong to the greatest and oldest fraternity in the world. Masonry cannot grow from a fraction of its members doing all the work. Every brother has a part in the success of failure of his lodge. The lodge is not only the Master, Wardens, Trustees, and officers. The lodge is and includes every brother who signed his name to the historic roster after the MM exam. So please come out and join your brothers at our next meeting on September 19th. Fraternally, Jonathan Soltesz WM Worshipful Master Jonathan S.
