Please keep in your prayers:, Carl Tiell, Tricia Gerken, Sr. Joyce Hoile, Stefanie Rich, Wilma Kania, Kasey Spence, Dodi Tussing, Betty Wilhelm, Bob Boyer, Thomas Hermiller, Sherry Butera, Jim Flowers REMINDER: St. Louis PTAA is selling Ron's Super Valu (in Deshler) gift certificates at the school office and F & M Bank in Custar. They come in $25 increments and you can use them like gift cards. The PTAA makes a 5% profit off of these. We also still have scrip cards available for orders. Many businesses are offering a bigger percentage of kickback to schools during the month of December. Just visit http://www.shopwithscrip.com/ for a list of all the stores, restaurants, events, etc. Our enrollment code is: B25EBE7615214. Orders are placed on Monday mornings and are usually available for pick up on Thursdays. We ask that you have the money for the orders to school by Monday morning. If you have any questions, or if you would like us to place an order for you, please contact Luann Flowers 419-205-8848. These are ongoing fundraisers for the PTAA and make great Christmas gifts! All orders must be in by Monday, Dec. 18 by 9:00 am to receive by Christmas St. Louis PTAA wants to remind you that we participate in the Krogers Community Rewards program. This program donates money to St. Louis school every time you swipe your Kroger's card. To sign up, have your Kroger's card (you can get them in the store) and go to http://www.krogercommunityrewards.co m. Log in or register and use St. Louis' code NU674 to register for the Community Rewards Program. Then each time you shop, swipe your Kroger's card and St. Louis school will receive up to 5% of your qualifying purchases. Contact Luann Flowers (419-205-8848) if you have any questions and thanks for supporting the St. Louis PTA. A Family Perspective: Today s gospel tells us to SHARE! This Christmas resist the pressure to give token gifts. Instead, use those funds to give NESSITITIES to the poor. If our impoverished brothers and sisters are not on our gift list, we ve missed the point of Christmas. Dynamic Catholic sent a surprise title for this month's free book - Holiness Revolution by Dan Dematte. Please read and share the Dynamic Catholic resources! The first Sunday in advent is December 2. Sign up for the free email program from Dynamic Catholic "Best Advent Ever." www.dynamiccatholic.com Look for religious adult 'continuing education' opportunities on Sundays following Mass throughout the winter months. Topics include a bible study on the Gospel of John, the Mass, and the Sacraments. These opportunities are open to all adults and young adults during the hours of the children's religious education classes. A sign-up sheet will be available in narthex to plan for materials and snacks. Please contact Julie Lause (419-601-3319) with questions. Snow Emergencies: If any of our counties (Lucas, Henry, Fulton, or Wood) declare either a Level 2 or 3 we will cancel our scheduled services. We will attempt to put the cancellation information on Channel 11 WTOL and Channel 13 WTVG. However, on the weekends television stations have short staffs and so the cancellations may not go up on time for our classes. This is different than the Diocese policy that mass can be cancelled only for Level 3. This is due to our parishioners/teachers coming from a wide area, and road conditions can be different in different counties. We will not wait until a Level 3 to cancel! Any questions call the parish office at 419-669- 2223.
