Monthly Newsletter two One church meeting in two venues Cuffley & Potters Bar Welcome to the August edition of our newsletter. Jesus gave every believer a mission - to go and make disciples : Matthew 28:19-20: 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Therefore we need to make sure that EVERYTHING we do as followers of Jesus is carried out in the light of this command from Jesus. Vacancies at Life Church We currently have many vacancies for roles within the church at our Cuffley Campus! These are urgent roles that need filling, both to relieve the pressure on those existing people who serve on the rotas, and to receive the blessings that are in store when you do take on active service in our Church: Sunday School - Leaders and Teachers needed (typically you only take on one Sunday per month - you can always swop if you can't make it!) Lock-Up - 1 person needed. Refreshments Rota - at least 2 people needed (typically start at 9.45-10.15, finish at 1-1.15.) We really do encourage members and regular attenders to please come forward ASAP! Speak to Matt Archer or Debbie Chisholm. Life Church Web Site: www.lifechurch.uk.com

Chantelle Sayles gets married to Richard Findlow at St. Thomas a Becket Church, Northaw, on Saturday 2 nd September at 1.00 pm. Please remember both couples in your prayers as they begin their married life together. Coming in October We will be having a month of Prayer & Fasting at Life Church as we focus on the area of Building God s Kingdom. This will be based around various Parables of the Kingdom found in Matthew chapter 13. Material will be supplied for Life groups to follow the same theme. On Wednesdays during October the church will fast and come together for prayer at the Cuffley Campus in the evenings. During October, the services will have a different structure. Both the Cuffley Campus and the Potters Bar Campus will follow the same themes in the Sunday services each week. More details to follow.

Available on Web Site From the introduction: This material is an aid to assist us in thinking about how we can come together, how we can love one another - see each other for who we truly are and work side by side for the sake of the Kingdom. We all know that there is an enemy whose aim is to tear down and destroy any unity that we may have, and yet the mission of God is victorious over his plans. The devil prowls aroundtrying to wreck relationships, but the Lord draws us together by his Spirit to demonstrate his love to those who don t yet know him. It is time for the Church to rise up in unity - all for one. More Life Group Material is available from our church web site: www.lifechurch.uk.com/ lifegroups This is an excellent resource to help people to become disciples who then go on to make disciples. Written by Dr. Brandon Park with the subtitle: What You Should Know and How You Can Grow, LifeCoach Discipleship is a tool for personal and spiritual growth and development It combines captivating media, practical content, and thoughtprovoking study questions all on the platform of interactive discipleship coaching relationships. Studies have shown that we grow best spiritually when we have someone to invest in us and walk with us in life. This material will help you achieve this. The goal is for the mentee, the one being discipled, to become a mentor to multiply other disciples. You were made to be a disciple and to make disciples. Some of the material is now available online at: www.lifechurch.uk.com/life-groups/ If you would like to buy a copy of the book on which the material is based, or want more information please get in touch with Phillip Coffin or William Wong.
