During these talks the pope gave extensive advice on how to teach people, especially young people, to remain full of hope. No matter "... where God has planted you, hope. Always hope...," he said. A positive dream or vision for the future relies on a healthy sense of hope. God desires our happiness and seeks what is best for us. Hope is the gift God bestows on us so that we can turn our lives to God, seek God, grow in the love and goodness of God and someday know the unbroken happiness that comes from living in perfect communion with God. God accompanies us, blesses us, steadies, and encourages us so that the absolutely best thing we could ever hope for will be ours. We do not hope alone, we hope together. Hope requires companions, people who want our good and who help us along our way. Here are several of the suggestions that Pope Francis had to encourage hope: No matter how different people are from one another, human beings were created to live together. With disputes, wait patiently. One day you will discover that a sliver of truth has been entrusted to everyone." The world goes on thanks to the vision of many people who created an opening, who built bridges, who dreamed and believed, even when they heard words of derision around them." Love people. Respect everyone's journey -- whether it be troubled or down the straight and narrow because everyone has a story behind them. The seemingly insignificant acts of parents can have tremendous effect upon their children. The smallest acts of love, attention and approval, and moments of time spent together are acts of faith and hope. Faith, because we show our belief and confidence in our children, and hope, because we will not see the results of our parenting for many years. HEALING PRAYER SERVICE A healing prayer service will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 6 9 pm (or until all receive prayer). The service will be presented by Peter s Shadow and conducted by Fr. Jacob Bearer and Peter s Shadow Prayer teams. JESUS still heals today. Come and experience the healing power of the risen Christ!
