Presenter: Scott Crenshaw comes from a musical family and grew up being very involved in music in both school and church. During his senior year in high school, Scott felt God s call to full-time worship ministry and attended MidAmerica Nazarene University. He graduated with a degree in Church Music and Christian Education in 1987. While at MNU, Scott met Donna Warner and they married in June 1986. They have been partners in ministry, primarily as worship leaders, for over 30 years. In 2016 Scott transitioned from deacon to elder in the Church of the Nazarene in response to God s continued call on his life. Scott is currently serving as senior pastor at Oxford MS Church of the Nazarene. # 1-2D Discipleship A Great 5-Question Meeting Format Need a workable discipleship group model? The Discipled by Jesus format is simple, easily replicable, and provides fresh insight weekly. Turn your congregation on to mature discipleship with this simple tool. Presenter: Dr. Matt Friedeman is Professor of Evangelism and Discipleship at Wesley Biblical Seminary and pastor at DaySpring Community Church. # 1-3D NMI: The Care and Nurture of Missionaries Maximizing opportunities for local churches to impact the lives of missionaries through LINKS. Discussion will focus on creative, effective ways for churches to connect with missionaries. Presenters: Mary Friedeman and Denise Ware. Mary Friedeman serves as MidSouth District NMI President and is on staff with her husband Matt at DaySpring Community Church in Clinton, MS. Presenter: TBA # 1-6D Evangelism Have we fostered a culture in which too many church congregants believe they are Christian simply because they attend regularly as part of a local church? Could some of the ripe fields of harvest be in our own sanctuary chairs and pews, as well as in places beyond our church walls? This interactive session will address these questions, present recent Barna statistics, and provide practical tools participants can use to share the gospel and lead someone to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Presenter: Joyce Williams. SESSION 2 Workshop Options 11:00-11:45 # 2-1D The Science of Worship Join us for a discussion about the essentials for providing worship in your local setting. Presenter: Austen Broome serves as worship leader at The Foundry, a new church plant in Mississippi.

# 2-2D Building Greater CommUNITY The word says that Christ is coming back to claim a bride not a harem. What might it look like if the church took seriously the call to be one body comprised of many parts? How might our cities and communities be impacted by a unified church, actively working together to bring the hope of the gospel to the lost? Does the Lord really rescue whole cities? Yes! He has done it many times before; we call it revival. Presenter: Michael Ford is senior pastor of Lifepointe Church of the Nazarene in McComb, MS. He is a husband, father, and teacher. Michael has served many roles in ministry and in each it has been his vision to see the glory of God made manifest among His people. # 2-3D NMI and Children/Youth: Working Together Ideas and activities to plant seeds of passion for lifelong missions involvement and build cross-generational missions awareness.
