Sharing Our Faith to Help It Grow have faith, but I haven t no ced too many mountains moving around lately. Jesus invites us to increase our faith. Faith is a gi from God. It is our job to help it to grow and increase and bear fruit. How do we go about strong root system is essen al to healthy growth. Once firmly rooted the plant then spreads its branches wider with new shoots every year. In this year of the Gospel of Ma hew we get a lot of these agricultural images of branches. We call it Genera ons of Faith (GoF). At GoF we come together, children, teens, and adults to share our faith in Christ. Through a variety of ac vi es we look at and share our faith with others in the parish. Each of the Church. There is me for adults to share with other adults and for kids to share with others their own When a child is bap zed the parents acknowledge their responsibility as the primary educators of their children, but they are not the only adults tasked with this responsibility. Each bap zed person has at least one godparent They speak for the en re adult community of the Church. The educa on of children in the life of the faith is the responsibility of our en re adult community. In GoF, children hear from adults other than their parents what is trying to pass on to their kids. In this way we witness our faith to each other and tes fy to the grace of God in conversa on, reflec on, prayer and ac vity; just the thing to help your faith to grow.
