I pray these lines find all doing well and enjoying the last few days of Summer Vacation. I shared in Deacon Mark s love for school and so would be so bummed out to see summer come to an end but Thanksgiving break will be here before you know it! So many people have told me how excited they are for the teaching Mass so I am really working to make it a must see/hear. Once again this week we hear Jesus tell us that He IS The Bread of Life. This is the very center point of our faith thus the reason we are hearing the Bread of Life discourses for four weeks in a row. The Scriptures are designed to change our lives and sometimes they are so perfectly written and so pertinent for everyone. I just need to totally quote them with this proviso if you have not accomplished all the second reading speaks, about, then this is your homework!!! All bitterness, fury, anger, shouting, and reviling (to criticize in an insulting manner) must be removed from you, along with all malice. And be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ. It does not get any clearer than that. Until we have done this for ourselves we never have the right to criticize others. I pray the teaching Mass will be as enjoyable to watch as it is to present. Have a Great week! Love, Fr. Mike SCRIP SCRIP NEWS! School is starting and scrip can help you with all those extra items the kids may need.
