Easton District Newsletter V I C T O R I E S D O N T H A P P E N B Y A C C I D E N T Newsletter Date: July 12, 2018 Rescue Me Rev. Ashley Jones, Pastor, East New Market/Linkwood Scripture: Israel, the Lord who created you says, Do not be afraid I will save you. I have called you by name you are mine. 2 When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you;your troubles will not overwhelm you. When you pass through fire, you will not be burned; the hard trials that come will not hurt you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, the holy God of Israel, who saves you. I will give up Egypt to set you free; I will give up Ethiopia [a] and Seba. 4 I will give up whole nations to save your life, because you are precious to me and because I love you and give you honor. 5 Do not be afraid I am with you! (Isaiah 43:1-5, Good News Translation) As we celebrate and praise God for the safe rescue of the soccer team and their coach from the cave in Thailand after more than10 days. I ask why are we still trapped in the cave of peer pressure, people pleasers, sickness, sin and darkness? You can be freed today! Right now no matter how long you've been trapped. Its Time to COME OUT! Your rescue team has come and is here! Amen. Pastor Ashley Jones Prayer: Lord in your mercy, we praise you for the life preserver, the oxygen tank and the navy seal. We praise you for Jesus, for even in our darkness hour, you have never forsaken us. As the coach taught the boys in the cave to drink fresh water, you have given the living water provided of Jesus Christ every day. We are so grateful for the rescue team (faith, prayer warriors and Father, Son & Holy Ghost) all lead us to the light of day. In Jesus Name. Amen Pastor B
