This will be a high-energy, inspiring day where you'll truly learn what works to get our youth to be open to marriage, priesthood, and religious life. Confirmation Class of 2020 students in this year s 8 th and 9 th grades: Wednesdays December 5, and 12, at 7 p.m. in the hall. Students should plan to participate in Mass together day, December 16, 10 a.m. and can look forward to the cookies afterwards! Singing/Praying: This month s 4 th Wednesday Sing will be the 3 rd Wednesday, December 18, 7:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. in the Church. This is for anyone who is interested in singing for the joy of singing, open to singers in eighth grade through adult ages. We will sing songs that will be sung at Christmas Masses and other carols and songs of the season. For this sing, feel free to bring your musical instrument if you would prefer. Christmas Pageant! The students will be preparing and acting out the Christmas pageant following 8:00 am Mass on December 16 th. Following the pageant the Knights of Columbus will be hosting a pancake breakfast in the parish hall. The Knights will be having a free will donation with the proceeds going to a charity of their choosing. All parish members, grandparents, parents and family are welcome to participate in the pageant and breakfast. We invite our parish families to purchase a Christmas Poinsettia in honor of their loved ones. Please include your donation with specific information in an envelope in the collection basket at our St. Mary s Mechanicsville Masses in the next four weeks. When the Christmas decorations are stored away, you may take your poinsettia home to enjoy. The home has made some suggestions as to items to donate for our veterans= shampoo- toothpaste-candy barsword search puzzle books-postage stampsdeodorant and individual wrapped snack items.
