Our new medical facility will be opened and offering free ultrasounds to women. With this technology a mother can truly see her baby and make an informed choice. This HUGE god-sized project will need your help. This Respect Life Sunday, please accept and fill the baby bottles. If possibly, please include an additional check to defray this expense. Please return bottles on February 27 th or before. Finance Corner Last weekend the plate collection was $4,277. Second Collection Next weekend the second collection is for the Altar Society. Stewardship Corner Stewardship involves more than just the gift we bring to the altar. Today s readings say clearly that it is fidelity to God s law that makes our offering acceptable. Leave a Legacy You can leverage the gift you leave to St. Bernard Parish and inspire others to make a similar gift. Contact the Humboldt Area Foundation (442-2993) and your financial advisor to discuss a Charitable Gift Annuity (to increase your cash flow and save taxes) or a Charitable Remainder Trust (to dispose of assets without paying any capital gains taxes plus receive an income tax charitable deduction). Please plan to visit with the Exposed Blessed Sacrament on the altar of St. Bernard Church after the 12:15 pm Mass on every Wednesday until 9:00 pm. There are at least two adorers present during that period of peaceful quiet and contemplation in the presence of our Lords Sacred Body in which we can pray for our own intentions and for peace in the world. If you would like a year-end tax statement of your contributions, please call the office @ 442-6466. Coffee Hour today, after the 10:00 Mass, is sponsored by the St. Bernard Women's Club. Please join us for some delicious food and good fellowship. We hope to see you there. Check out our Website at: wwwsaintbernards.org
