If you have a prayer request, write it on the pieces of paper provided at the entrance area s to the sanctuary where our greeters are and put in the pottery vessel on the back window provided for this. Thank you to Bob Pellett for refinishing the antique table in Judy s office. This table had been painted pink and also had blue paint on it but Bob restored it to it s original glory and is it glorious. When Bob took the table apart to refinish it he found a tag that said it came from the B&B Furniture Co in Seaforth, Ontario. The shipping label is attached to the support structure between the leg section and the table top and cannot be seen when assembled. The notation on the label was 70DK could be the intitals of the shipper and the year shipped (1870). On the underside of the top is written $3.50 which would be the price of the table by the Manufacturer or by the retail store in Midland. The best estimate is that the construction date would be between 1870 and 1910. Order of the Eastern Star is having a Strawberry Social on Friday June 29 th at 11:30am to. at St. Paul s in the gym. The cost is $5.00 and includes homemade biscuits, fresh strawberries, traditional whipped cream and coffee/tea. Proceeds to local food bank. See poster for more information.
