We also hear Jesus add that he is the living bread. Both of these statements help us understand better the gift that Jesus gives us in the Eucharist. We celebrate this gift of Jesus each time we gather for Mass. We believe that receiving Jesus in the Eucharist will lead us to eternal life. *PARISH 12 Winder Road New Castle, Delaware 19720 *MAILING ADDRESS: 521 Harmony Street New Castle, Delaware 19720 302-658-1069 FAX: 302-658-6890 PARISH OFFICE LOCATED AT ST. CLASSES BEGIN IN SEPTEMBER THE RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS In the Gospel of John, Jesus tells us, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6) We become one with Christ by the Sacraments that He gives us through His Holy Church. Adults learn about and enter the Catholic Church through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), which will begin in September. There are three groups of people who normally participate in the RCIA: Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Feast Day Wednesday, August 15 adults who need to be baptized those who have previously been baptized in a different faith tradition, and now wish to become Catholic; and Catholic adults who need to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist If you or someone you know would like to become Catholic, please call the parish office 302.328.2335 as soon as possible to find out more information about the RCIA program. ===================================== OUR LADY OF FATIMA GUEST SPEAKER Taste the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart experience at Our Lady of Fatima.
