2 0 1 6 M A R C H / A P R I L N t A he CEA Newsletter Medical Team Travels to India Nine medical workers from Hancock Regional Hospital near Indianapolis, Indiana met their FAME team leader, Debbie Trego in Chennai, India on the last day of January 2016. The medical team was greeted by T.B. Paul and his son Dr. Rajesh Paul who accompanied the team to Machilipatnam which became home for the next week and a half. In addition to the team leader, the team members were Carol & Marc Petrey, Tara & Henry Schmidt, Heather Johnson, Amy Diersing, Sarah LaSeuola, Kristin Bagley, and Dee Nicholson. During their stay, the team saw patients, both young and old, as they held medical camps at the Oberst Christian Academy (NACEA School), the Tella Devadanam & Alice Christian Medical Center (CMC), and at several village churches. Time was also spent training teachers, preachers and other leaders on general hygiene, body mechanics, and basic first aid. Debbie Trego said that her favorite part was working with the older patients. Others found a special place in their hearts for the children. All left with an appreciation for the dedication of the Paul family and the team of in-country preachers and teachers. Medical Team with Richie, Rose, Dr. Soujanya, T.B. & Dr. Rajesh Paul at CMC

T.B. & Rani Paul to be at ICOM November 17th - 20th Lexington, KY http://www.theicom.org The ICOM is being held in Lexington, Kentucky at the Convention Center from Thursday, November 17 through Sunday, November 20. NACEA will at booths 1909 and 1911. T.B. & Rani Paul plan to be at the booth to meet with you and discuss all the great work going on in Andhra Pradesh, India. Please plan to attend! The theme this year is MOBILIZE: Disciples Making Disciples. The ICOM president states Jesus said, Go and make disciples. Yet too often the message we communicate to seekers of Christ is to come and hear. This strategy has not been as successful as we had hoped, so we need to go back to the biblical blueprint and base our efforts on the model of Jesus. We need to take the time to make disciples who can teach others how to make other disciples. TB Paul Rani Paul T.B. and Rani will be in country from mid-october through December 6 th. To date, they are scheduled to be in Indiana at Shoals Christian Church on Sunday morning, October 16th and Bethany Christian Church on Sunday, November 27 th. Please contact Mike Harker at mikeharker@frontier.com or 812-247-3143 if you would like to have them at your church during their visit.

Oberst Christian Academy Happenings Rakesh Paul School Principle School starts for children at age 3 or 4 with Lower Kindergarten (LKG). The Oberst Christian Academy (NACEA School) has two classes of LKG for a total of nearly 80 children. Mike & Kathy Harker, Tim & Mary Norris, and Krystal & Ruby Chestnut made several visits to the school during the mission trip in January of this year. The teachers made great use of the blackboards and of oral recitation. The team was very impressed with the work that the children had done in their schoolbooks. During the visit, the children sang several songs complete with motions to the team. The children were very polite to us and well behaved. LKG-A Teacher at blackboard LKG-A classroom LKG-B Classroom LKG-B Teacher Needs for next School Term 80 School desks seating 3 students each are needed at a cost of $125 per desk. Also needed is equipment for the computer lab (12 computers @ $250 each) and science lab ($1250). Designate your check: School equipment

Tailoring Ministry Graduates 60 One of the highlights when the mission team travels to India is to be able to participate in the Graduation Ceremony for the Tailoring Ministry. This year 60 ladies were presented with certificates recognizing their successful effort in learning to sew. Rani Paul with help from her daughter-in-law, Rose Paul, head up this very beneficial ministry. This skill not only allows the ladies to keep their family well clothed, but also helps them to provide extra income. Each church has a sewing machine that is available to the village. Krystal Chestnut presenting certificate Tailoring Class In addition to the tailoring ministry, NACEA also provides instruction in candle making which provides an additional way to generate extra income for the family. Send your gifts to: NACEA, P.O. Box 2309, Washington, IN 47501 You can also give on-line at http://naceamission.org/ Note: 100% of designated gifts go to the field for the purpose stated.

Faithful Preacher of the Word This is Timothy s 19 th year as a preacher of God s Word. He was trained in the Institute of Christian Studies (ICS) and received his Certificate of Christian Studies (CCS) diploma. He and his wife, Mercy, have 3 married children and 5 grandchildren. He pastors 89 families in the village of Kankatova and 20 families in the village of Kalapatnam. You can support an experienced preacher like Timothy for $44 per month or a new preacher for as little as $10 per month. This money supplements income that the preachers receive from church offerings and second jobs. Preacher training is taught in 6 month blocks. Each block of preacher education costs $750 per preacher. This includes tuition, room & board, transportation and teaching material. If you would like to support a preacher or help pay for training, note in the memo line & send your gifts to: Timothy NACEA, P.O. Box 2309 Washington, IN 47501 NACEA currently has 45 preachers serving in the State of Andhra Pradesh and 6 preachers serving in the State of Tamil Nadu. Children s Home Profile of the Month Vishal s mother left with another man leaving him and her husband. The father married a widow who had two kids. The father and the step mother are both daily wage workers. Unable to take care of three kids, the parents brought Vishal and his step sister and joined them to our home. He has been with us for the last three years. He is now studying in 1 st Standard at the Oberst Christian Academy. Please remember Vishal in your prayers. Your love and support will help him to receive the assistance he needs to grow and develop. Vishal is in need of a sponsor. Support someone like Vishal for $40 per month. That is only a little over a dollar per day. Maybe you could give up a soda or a coffee each day for a child in need.
