A Message From Our Pastor Dear friends- This weekend we mark the close of our 50 th year anniversary celebrations. I think it has been a good year filled with many enriching and enjoyable celebrations. My thanks goes out to all those who worked so hard on our anniversary committee and to all those who volunteered their time to make this a memorable year. As is true so often in life-events that turn out well are due to a tremendous amount of hard work that goes on behind the scenes and this has certainly been true of this year of celebration. This weekend we welcome our Archbishop Cardinal O Malley who joins us to celebrate our closing Mass. The Cardinal visited us a few years ago when he celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation. We appreciate the fact that he has taken time out of his busy schedule to celebrate this milestone We are excited to host this year's walk at a NEW, spacious with location us. featuring covered picnic areas and a nice view! We also welcome back to our parish some of the priests who were stationed here at St. Timothy s in Please join us for a day of great food, socializing, information sharing the past. and raising I hope awareness their presence about with epilepsy!! us brings To register back as an individual or a team, please visit many good memories of former days in the life of our parish. And as always, we thank Fr. Emerson for all that he does each day to minister in our parish and to grace us with his gentle presence. On this special occasion, I want to say how very grateful I am to be part of this parish community. In so many different ways, St. Timothy s exemplifies what a parish should be a place of faith, hope, and charity. The way the Sacraments are celebrated, the outreach to those less fortunate, the many ministries that continue year in and year out, the diversity of our parish members, the welcome you extend to those who are new to our parish, and the way you reach out to older members of the parish and those confined to their homes is, I believe, the way Jesus would want us to continue His ministry in this day and age. Thank you for making my time here at this parish such a source of joy you are great. Finally, two quick reminders. Please check the bulletin board in the gathering space if you wish to help out with our annual Special Needs Day which will be held next Saturday, June 22. As I mentioned last week, our parish secretary, Kathy Tinson, will be retiring on June 30. If you would like a chance to say goodbye to her and thank her for her work here at the parish, we invite you to join her for coffee at the tent on the lawn on Sunday, June 23 between the 9:30 and 11am Masses. Fr. Culloty
