WELCOME Westminster Presbyterian Church is a covenant family of believers called by God to fulfill His purposes here in Laurel, and as a staging ground for worldwide kingdom growth where we seek to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ to fill the earth with disciples, subdue it redemptively for God s glory, and worship Him joyfully. We are being redeemed and equipped by the Spirit to build up one another until the Lord returns.

Mike Allen INVOCATION INTROIT Be Thou My Vision Lisa Badley RESPONSIVE CALL TO WORSHIP* I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies. The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation -Psalm 18:1-3, 46 HYMN OF PRAISE* The Solid Rock
THE SOLID ROCK
PROFESSION OF OUR CHURCH S FAITH* I believe in God the Father Almighty; Maker of Heaven and Earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. ANTHEM Choir All to Jesus PRAYER FOR ILLUMINATION AND CHANGE* SCRIPTURE AND SERMON From Groaning To Glory When Faithfulness Does Not Lead To Fruitfulness Exodus 5-6:1 CORPORATE CONFESSION OF SIN Almighty God, Who by the blood of Your own Son has purchased us from bondage and has commanded us to find Sabbath rest in Him, we confess with great sorrow that we have pursued a life of restlessness. We ask Your forgiveness and the gift of full repentance, that we may walk in newness of life, and thus honor our loving Savior Jesus Christ, in Whose matchless Name we pray. Amen. (Hear now our silent and individual prayers of confession) ASSURANCE OF PARDON AND THE LORD S PRAYER Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. AMEN.
COMMUNION HYMN O Church Arise (v.3) Come see the cross, where love and mercy meet, as the Son of God is stricken; Then see His foes lie crushed beneath His feet, for the Conqueror has risen. And as the stone is rolled away and Christ emerges from the grave, the vict ry march continues till the day ev ry eye and heart shall see Him HOLY COMMUNION Minister: The peace of the Lord be with you! People: And also with you! Breaking of the Bread and Sharing of the Cup The center of each bread tray contains gluten-free bread. The outer ring of each cup tray contains wine, the inner rings contain juice. BENEDICTION HYMN OF REFLECTION O Church Arise (v.4) So Spirit, come, put strength in ev ry stride, give grace for ev ry hurdle; That we may run with faith, to win the prize of a servant, good and faithful.
