A Bible story and lesson is shared. We sing and teach songs. Games and crafts are offered. We will need volunteers to help with food, music, crafts, and games each evening. A minimum of five adults will be needed each day and our youth are encouraged to help as well.
Volunteers Are Needed for Heartwood Ministries VBS: This shared ministry of the Fredericksburg District is still looking for someone to music leaders, storytellers, tribe leaders and someone to lead the exploration and science for the July week 14-18. Please pray about this opportunity to serve Christ by making disciples in his name. Speak with Pastor Mike if you need more information about this new ministry opportunity. 2014 Samaritan Fund Offering: Envelopes are on the table in the entrance to the sanctuary. This offering allows Virginia United Methodist Homes, Inc. (VUMH) to give financial assistance to residents who, through no fault of their own, are unable to meet the full cost of their care. Ice Cream Social: Mark your calendars because you do not want to miss this! Join us on Sunday, July 13 th at 4:00pm for an Ice Cream Social. We need volunteers to prepare homemade ice cream. Please speak with Pastor Mike if you will bring a freezer of ice cream. It should be hot in mid-july so join us for a cool treat and a time of fellowship.
