PMDiscipleship Classes Classes Begin Next Sunday (January 14) Several PMDiscipleship classes are available to help you fulfill the Great Commission and grow closer to the Lord. All of the classes have a $5 cost to cover the material. Sign up at the Welcome Center. Contact Pastor Todd Tjepkema for additional details or questions concering the classes. Discipleship Pastor Todd Tjepkema A-278 A practical study of sanctification emphasizing the significance and methods of personally knowing God, dealing with sin, and growing in Christlikeness. We were created to have a personal love relationship with our Creator. This class provides the means by which to grow closer to God and how to get to know Him better. Understanding Mormonism Pastor Nathan Mestler & Troy Gardner A-273 This PMD class will focus on the basic information that you need to reach our LDS friends and neighbors with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The class will include an overview of LDS history and theology, testimonies and insight from former Mormons, and practical tips and guidance for reaching out and presenting the gospel to Mormons. Our hope is that when you are done with the class that you will feel equipped and confident to share the liberating gospel of grace with our LDS friends and neighbors. Hymn Reading for Everyone Pastor Dave Stertzbach A-156 This class is for everyone who has ever wanted to learn the secret code of music. Pastor Stertzbach assumes no prior music training. You will learn to follow the notes and rhythms in the hymnal to make learning new songs easier. Folks with some prior music training will enjoy the refresher course, and probably learn something new. The class will be both informative and fun, using Pastor Stertzbach s inimitable style of edu-tainment. Memorizing God's Word in 2018! Week One: John 3:16 (NKJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Tuition Tax Credit Tuition Tax Credit The end of the year is here! Please do not forget to take advantage of the Tuition Tax Credit. If you re new to Tri-City, you might not be familiar with this incredible program. Singles are allowed to redirect up to $1,089 ($546 in the Original program and the overflow in the PLUS Switcher of $543). Married couples can redirect up to $2,177 ($1,092 in the Original program and the overflow in the PLUS Switcher of $1,085). All Arizona workers owe state taxes. Arizona allows singles and married couples to redirect their state tax dollars to a tuition tax credit organization like TOPS for Kids. Donors take the donated money as a credit against the Arizona state taxes they owe when they file their state tax returns. Donors can recommend private schools or students they would like the money to go to. If left blank, the funds go to help low-income families with education costs. It is one of the biggest ministries to our Tri-City Christian Academy families! If able, please give by January 15 which helps with this year s school bills. Go to www.topsforkids.com for more information and to redirect your state tax dollars. facebook.com/ TriCityBaptistMinistries 2211 W Germann Rd Chandler, AZ 85286 (480) 245-7900 info@tricityministries.org TriCityMinistries.org If you have personal needs, requests, or blessings you wish to share with the pastoral staff, please send them to info@tricityministries.org.
