King and Priest Who is the Branch that will come according to the Tanak? This Branch will sit on the throne of Daud (David) and redeem Yashra al (Israel). Is. 4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach. Is. 4:2 In that day shall the branch of Yahuah be beautiful and esteemed, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Yashra al (Israel). Is. 4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remains in Jerusalem, shall be called set-apart, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: Is. 4:4 When Yahuah shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. Jer. 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! says Yahuah. Jer. 23:2 Therefore thus says Yahuah Alahiym of Yashra al (Israel) against the pastors that feed my people; You have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, says Yahuah. Jer. 23:3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. Jer. 23:4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, says Yahuah. Jer. 23:5 Behold, the days come, says Yahuah, that I will raise unto Daud (David) a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. Matt. 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Yahudiym? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. Rev. 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See you do it not: I am your fellow-servant, and of your brethren that have the witness of Yahusha: worship Alahiym: for the witness of Yahusha is the spirit of prophecy. Rev. 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war. Jer. 23:6 In his days Yahudah shall be saved, and Yashra al (Israel) shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, YAHUAH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Jer. 23:7 Therefore, behold, the days come, says Yahuah, that they shall no more say, Yahuah lives, which brought up the children of Yashra al (Israel) out of the land of Mitsraiym (Egypt) ; Jer. 23:8 But, Yahuah lives, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Yashra al (Israel) out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land. Jer. 33:14 Behold, the days come, says Yahuah, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Yashra al (Israel) and to the house of Yahudah. Jer. 33:15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto Daud (David) ; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. Jer. 33:16 In those days shall Yahudah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, Yahuah our righteousness. Jer. 33:17 For thus says Yahuah; Daud (David) shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Yashra al (Israel) ; Jer. 33:18 Neither shall the priests the Luiym (Levites) want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle meat offerings, and to do sacrifice continually. Jer. 33:19 And the word of Yahuah came unto Yeremiyahu (Jeremiah), saying, Jer. 33:20 Thus says Yahuah; If you can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; Jer. 33:21 Then may also my covenant be broken with Daud (David) my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Luiym (Levites) the priests, my ministers. Jer. 33:22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of Daud (David) my servant, and the Luiym (Levites) that minister unto me. Jer. 33:23 Moreover the word of Yahuah came to Yeremiyahu (Jeremiah), saying, Jer. 33:24 Consider you not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which Yahuah has chosen, he has even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them. Jer. 33:25 Thus says Yahuah; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; Jer. 33:26 Then will I cast away the seed of Ya aqub (Jacob), and Daud (David) my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Yatskaq (Isaac), and Ya aqub (Jacob) : for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them. Zech. 3:8 Hear now, O Yahusha (Joshua) the high priest, you, and your fellows that sit before you: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. Zech. 3:9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Yahusha (Joshua) ; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, says Yahuah of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. Zech. 3:10 In that day, says Yahuah of hosts, shall you call every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.

Zech. 6:12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaks Yahuah of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up (Tsamach) out of his place, and he shall build the temple of Yahuah: Zech. 6:13 Even he shall build the temple of Yahuah; and he shall bear the esteem, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both jamrx tsemach, tseh -makh; from 6779; a sprout (usually concrete), literal or figurative: branch, bud, that which (where) grew (upon), spring(-ing). o jamdx tsamach, tsaw-makh ; a primitive root; to sprout (transitive or intransitive, literal or figurative): bear, bring forth, (cause to, make to) bud (forth), (cause to, make to) grow (again, up), (cause to) spring (forth, up). Is. 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Yashiy (Jesse), and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: aåz Rg geza, geh -zah; from an unused root meaning to cut down (trees); the trunk or stump of a tree (as felled or as planted): stem, stock rrxń netser, nay -tser; from 5341 in the sense of greenness as a striking color; a shoot; figuratively, a descendant: branch. o raxîn natsar, naw-tsar ; a primitive root; to guard, in a good sense (to protect, maintain, obey, etc.) or a bad one (to conceal, etc.): besieged, hidden thing, keep(-er, -ing), monument, observe, preserve(-r), subtil, watcher(-man). o A Netser shall grow out of something that has been cut down or no longer grows. o Matt. 2:23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene [properly a Netser]. Basically to put this together. A tsemach is a branch that would sprout or cause to grow. The prophecy in Yashayahu (Isaiah) 11, talks of a stem [Which means to be cut down] that would be dead or is dead, but out of that which is dead will be a Netser. A Netser will grow from something that is dead thousands of years later. One such branch is none other than a olive branch or tree. Putting all this together. The first branch will be coming from Daud (David) which in his kingly linage has been cursed. Or cut off. But remember the promise He made with Daud (David) that is will always be. So their would a Branch that will fulfill the promise. And He will be called the Tsemach. Two types branches, but to fulfill one prophecy. Some may believe that Zerrubabel is the one that fulfilled this prophecy. With the 2 nd temple. There are several reasons why this cannot be. This temple will have no end and it will be from sea to sea.

Zech. 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, your King comes unto you: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. Matt. 21:2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway you shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. Matt. 21:3 And if any man say ought unto you, you shall say, The sovereign has need of them; and straightway he will send them. Matt. 21:4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, Matt. 21:5 Tell you the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King comes unto you, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. Zech. 9:10 And I will cut off the chariot from Aphraiym (Ephraim), and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth. I have heard some say Shalamah (Solomon) fulfills this as well however his reign was not from sea to sea o 1Kings 4:21 And Shalamah (Solomon) reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Mistraiym (Egypt) : they brought presents, and served Shalamah (Solomon) all the days of his life. o 1Kings 4:24 For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him. Zech. 2:11 And many nations shall be joined to Yahuah in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know that Yahuah of hosts has sent me unto you. Zech. 8:23 Thus says Yahuah of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Yahudiy, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that Alahiym is with you. Zech. 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahuah of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. Zech. 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahuah of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. What are some of the purposes of a priest? They are to make atonement for all of Yashra al (Israel) and those who sojourns among them.

Ex. 28:1 And take you unto you Aharoon (Aaron) your brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Yashra al (Israel), that he may minister unto me in the priest s office, even Aharoon (Aaron), Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aharoon s (Aaron s) sons. Ex. 32:21 And Mushah (Moses) said unto Aharoon (Aaron), What did this people unto you, that you hast brought so great a sin upon them? Ex. 32:22 And Aharoon (Aaron) said, Let not the anger of my adon wax hot: you know the people, that they are set on mischief. Ex. 32:23 For they said unto me, Make us alahiym, which shall go before us: for as for this Mushah (Moses), the man that brought us up out of the land of Mitsraiym (Egypt), we wot not what is become of him. Ex. 32:24 And I said unto them, Whosoever has any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf. Ex. 32:25 And when Mushah (Moses) saw that the people were naked; (for Aharoon (Aaron) had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:) Ex. 32:26 Then Mushah (Moses) stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on Yahuah s side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Luiy (Levi) gathered themselves together unto him. Ex. 30:7 And Aharoon (Aaron) shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresses the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it. Ex. 30:8 And when Aharoon (Aaron) lights the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before Yahuah throughout your generations. Ex. 30:9 You shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor meat offering; neither shall you pour drink offering thereon. Ex. 30:10 And Aharoon (Aaron) shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most set-apart unto Yahuah. Ex. 25:40 And look that you make them after their pattern, which was showed you in the mount tŷnvb;at tabniyth, tab-neeth ; from 1129; structure; by implication, a model, resemblance: figure, form, likeness, pattern, similitude. o hîn;db banah, baw-naw ; a primitive root; to build (literally and figuratively): (begin to) build(-er), obtain children, make, repair, set (up), x surely N;Eb ben, bane; from 1129; t;ab bath, bath; from 1129 Ex. 12:3 Speak you unto all the congregation of Yashra al (Israel), saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: Ex. 12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb. Ex. 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: you shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

Worthy note. The Law was made for Yash ra al (Israel) to follow. When they do not follow they were to be cut off or die. Example killing innocent blood then that person dies. When you do a research you will see that their were times when this took place, but He had mercy and allowed a animal sacrifice to be done in exchange for that persons life. What do we learn from this? Really the one that Sins is the one that should die. But He made an augmentation to His law, He added sacrifice for Sin and Animal in exchange for that person. This was not for forever but at some point your life will be at stake. Is. 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Yahuah has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Is. 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opens not his mouth. Is. 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. 1Sam. 15:21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto Yahuah your Alahiym in Gilgal. 1Sam. 15:22 And Samuel said, Has Yahuah as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Yahuah? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 1Sam. 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you hast rejected the word of Yahuah, he has also rejected you from being king yîrvm mriy, mer-ee ; from 4784; bitterness, i.e. (figuratively) rebellion; concretely, bitter, or rebellious: bitter, (most) rebel(-lion, -lious). o h rdm marah, maw-raw ; a primitive root; to be (causatively, make) bitter (or unpleasant); (figuratively) to rebel (or resist; causatively, to provoke): bitter, change, be disobedient, disobey, grievously, provocation, provoke(-ing), (be) rebel (against, -lious). LXX Septuagint Psa. (39) 40:6 Sacrifice and offering you would not; but a body have you prepared me: whole-burnt-offering and sacrifice for sin you did not require. Psa. (39) 40:7 Then I said, Behold, I come: in the volume of the book it is written concerning me, Masoretic Text Psa. 40:6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire; mine ears have you opened: burnt offering and sin offering have you not required. Psa. 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, Notice in the LXX, which is centuries older than MSS has, a body have you prepared for me, however in the Masoretic text this has been removed. Also in the Munster Hebrew version of psalms, it has, אכל הגוף כוננת a body you have prepared for me.

Heb. 10:5 Wherefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering you would not, but a body have you prepared me: Heb. 10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you hast had no pleasure. Heb. 10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do your will, O Alahiym. Heb. 10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin you would not, neither had pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Back to the Priesthood Mal. 2:1 And now, O you priests, this commandment is for you. Mal. 2:2 If you will not hear, and if you will not lay it to heart, to give esteem unto my name, says Yahuah of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because you do not lay it to heart. Mal. 2:3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it. Mal. 2:4 And you shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you, that my covenant might be with Luiy (Levi), says Yahuah of hosts. Mal. 2:5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. Mal. 2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. Mal. 2:7 For the priest s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of Yahuah of hosts. Mal. 2:8 But you are departed out of the way; you have caused many to stumble at the law; you have corrupted the covenant of Luiy (Levi), says Yahuah of hosts. Mal. 2:9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as you have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the law. Mal. 3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and Yahuah, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come, says Yahuah of hosts. Mal. 3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appears? for he is like a refiner s fire, and like fullers soap: Mal. 3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Luiy (Levi), and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto Yahuah an offering in righteousness. Mal. 3:4 Then shall the offering of Yahudah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto Yahuah, as in the days of old, and as in former years. Who can purify a Priest? A greater priesthood. Heb. 5:4 And no man takes this honor unto himself, but he that is called of Alahiym, as was Aharoon (Aaron). Heb. 5:5 So also Mashiyach (Messiah) esteemed not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, You are my Son, to day have I begotten you.

Heb. 5:6 As he says also in another place, You are a priest for ever after the manner (pattern/order) of Melchizedek. Heb. 7:1 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the most high Alahiym, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; Heb. 7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; Heb. 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of Alahiym; abides a priest continually. Heb. 7:4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. Heb. 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Luiy (Levi), who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: Heb. 7:6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. Heb. 7:7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. Heb. 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives. Heb. 7:9 And as I may so say, Luiy (Levi) also, who receives tithes, paid tithes in Abraham. Heb. 7:10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchizedek met him. Heb. 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the manner (pattern/order) of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aharoon (Aaron)? Heb. 7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. Heb. 7:13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertains to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. Heb. 7:14 For it is evident that our sovereign sprang out of Yahudah; of which tribe Mushah (Moses) spoke nothing concerning priesthood. Heb. 7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchizedek there arises another priest, Heb. 7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. Heb. 7:17 For he testifies, You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek. Which Priesthood was first? Gen. 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the Most High Alahiym. Ezek. 48:21 And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the set-apart oblation, and of the possession of the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the west border, over against the portions for the prince: and it

shall be the set-apart oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof. Ezek. 48:22 Moreover from the possession of the Luiym (Levites), and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince s, between the border of Yahudah and the border of Banyaman (Benjamin), shall be for the prince ayicîn nasiy, naw-see ; or aicîn nasi, naw-see ; from 5375; properly, an exalted one, i.e. a king or sheik; also a rising mist: captain, chief, cloud, governor, prince, ruler, If you notice in the building of the 3 rd temple. Their will be no High Priest. They will have priest their, but not a High Priest. The Prince shall be doing this office. This prince will have a Kingship and priestly rule in this temple. Acts 5:30 The Alahiym of our fathers raised up Yahusha, whom you slew and hanged on a tree. Acts 5:31 Him has Alahiym exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Yashra al (Israel), and forgiveness of sins. Rev. 1:5 And from Yahusha Mashiyach (Messiah), who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, This leads us back to the Psalms Psa. 110:1 Yahuah said unto my Adaniy [Yahuah], Sit you at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool. Psa. 110:2 Yahuah shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion: rule you in the midst of your enemies. Psa. 110:3 Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of setapartness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth. Psa. 110:4 Yahuah has sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest forever after the manner (pattern/order) of Melchizedek. Psa. 110:5 Adaniy Yahuah at your right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. Verse 4 of Psalm 110 identifies this figure as Melchizadek. This Melchizadek figure was especially important to the Essenes. One document found at Qumran commonly called the Melchizadek document (11Q13) deals with this Melchizadek figure. This document quotes from Isaiah 61:1 but substitutes Melchizadek for Yahuah. The document goes on to call this Melchizadek figure both Al (El/Mighty one) and Alahiym and to identify him with the Mashiyach (Messiah) who is cut-off in Dan. 9:27: We can come to the understanding that the Malak Yahuah Which is one with the Father, has played many parts in scripture. (1) A Messenger of Yahuah, (2) A Creator, (3) A Aiysh (Ish/Husband), (4) Son of Alahiym [with the same Name as the Father, (5) Son of Man, (6) Elected one, (7) Mashiyach (Messiah). All of this to bring us back to the FATHER.
