5 RESPONSIVE READING Psalm 95:1-7a (NKJV) LEADER: Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. CONG: Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods. LEADER: In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land. ALL: Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand. 5

6 WE GATHER TOGETHER (1) We gather together to ask the Lord s blessing, He chastens and hastens His will to make known; The wicked oppressing now cease from distressing, Sing praises to His name, He forgets not His own. (2) Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining, Ordaining, maintaining His kingdom divine; So from the beginning the fight we were winning, Thou, Lord, wast at our side: the glory be Thine! 7 The tenth shall be holy unto the Lord. Leviticus 27:32 Every Christian should strive to learn how to be a cheerful giver. When we give what does it actually mean? It simply means we, cheerfully give to God our tithes and offerings. Tithing honors God. Are you giving the Lord His tithes or your tips? The word tithe means to give back to God one tenth of your earnings for the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel throughout the world.
