Sally and John have been married 40 years. They have 4 daughters and 10 grandchildren. Patti Jo Mintus and family live in Varna, Illinois. Beth Ann Crouse and family live in Bronson, Michigan. Shara Lyn Avilma and family live in Tabarre, Haiti. Chantale Puckett and son live with them in Thorntown, Indiana. John has ministered in Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. He ministered at Jamestown Christian Church from While in Missouri he was an adjunct professor at St. Louis Christian College. He is a graduate of Lincoln Christian College (BA) and Christian Theological Seminary (MAR). He has additional graduate hours from Lincoln Christian Seminary and Cincinnati Christian Seminary. Our Mission (based on Matthew 28) is to effectively proclaim the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; to draw people to Christ and His Church; to develop people in Christ; and to deploy people for Christ. Our Purpose is to serve Christ by showing others His love and forgiveness; restoring their lives to working order, in harmony with His design. I am overwhelmingly blessed and humbled by the opportunity to lead this church into the next era of ministry! 4 REMINDERS: We need some volunteer's to work on researching the playground equipment we would like to have for our children. We need the volunteer's to come up with a design, type of equipment (that would meet all safely regulations), ground cover, and cost including the labor cost of installing the equipment. Once we have the information we would go and apply for a grant. See Jay if you have questions, or you want to volunteer. Giving Tree Items for June are PUDDING CUPS & CANS OF FRUIT You are invited to travel and have fun with the JCC this summer. All ages welcome. First trip scheduled for Monday, June 24, going to the Creation Museum outside of Cincinnati, OH. We need your input on future trip ideas. Please fill out the Having Fun This Summer survey located on the back table. Remember the new website address ends in ".NET". It includes new building updates/pictures, online VBS registration/info, and much more! Check it out at: It is important that we get your input on what you would like to see moved to the new church building. Items unable to be used in the new building may be made available to families in the church, put up for sale, or disposed of. Any items planned for the new building will need to fit the décor and practical needs of the new building. Please fill out a form, sign your name, and place in the box on the back table. RILEY JENNINGS, friend of Jim & Bee Jones, is only 10- years-old and has several spots of cancer. BRIAN LANDRUM, Mike Landrum s son, had surgery on Friday, May 3, to remove cancer. He is back at work and will be scheduled for radiation treatment to begin mid-june. CURT FRANKE is searching for a job.
