Resolve the Board of Education approve the minutes of the January 9, 2013 special meeting and the January 14, 2013 organizational and regular meetings. 5. RECOGNITION OF GUESTS AND PRESENTATIONS 6. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION. The public is invited to speak to any of the agenda items and other school topics at this time. Comments should be limited to five minutes. 7. COMMITTEE REPORTS 8. Resolve the Board of Education appoint John Kelly as delegate and Anne Reinkober as alternate to the Ohio School Boards Association's Annual Meeting, November 10-13, A. REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE TREASURER 9. APPROVE APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS. 2 2 B. REPORTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE SUPERINTENDENT C. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, GRANTS, STIPENDS, CURRICULUM 10. APPROVE COURSE CATALOG. Resolve the Board of Education approve the North Royalton High School Course Catalog for the school year. D. PERSONNEL AND POLICY 11. RETIREMENT RECOGNITION. Resolve the Board of Education adopt the following resolution upon the retirement of Jermaine Bonk: WHEREAS, Jermaine Bonk has been valued members of the North Royalton City School District; and WHEREAS, she has made significant contributions to enhance the educational experience for all students; and WHEREAS, her presence will be missed by students and staff alike, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the members of the North Royalton Board of Education express their appreciation and wish her a long and happy retirement. 12. ACCEPT RESIGNATIONS/RETIREMENT. Resolve the Board of Education approve/amend the following unpaid leave of absence: -Sandra Sutton/effective February 5, 2013, half day -Natalie Zamaiko/effective January 17, 2013 through February 8, APPROVE CHANGE OF ASSIGNMENT. Resolve the Board of Education approve the following change of assignment effective school year or as indicated: -Scott Matusik to Head High School Cleaning Custodian from High School Utility Custodian/effective February 12, APPROVE APPOINTMENTS CERTIFICATED/LICENSED AND CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEES. Resolve the Board of Education approve the following appointments to the certificated/licensed and classified staffs of the North Royalton City Schools be confirmed with the understanding that such persons are subject to all provisions of law pertaining to the employment of said persons; and said employment is contingent upon subsequent receipt by the Board of a report from the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation which is not inconsistent with the applicants answers on the employment application. Resolve the Board of Education authorize the Ohio Schools Council's Cooperative School Bus Purchasing Program to advertise and receive bids on behalf of the North Royalton Board of Education for the purchase of school buses as needed and agree to pay a service fee not to exceed $ APPROVE PARENTAL TRANSPORTATION CONTRACTS.
