SUPPER CLUB February's Supper Club will be held on Saturday, February 9, 6:00 PM at The Central Restaurant in Painted Post. Call Pat Edger ( ) for reservations. UMW FOOD COLLECTION The UMW has committed to aiding those in need by collecting items for the local food pantry. We encourage you to give canned goods and other nonperishable items each month. Your gifts may be placed in the cabinet located in the narthex. Peanut butter is highlighted for February.

4 BIRTHDAY BRUNCH The first Birthday Brunch held last week was a great success. We will continue the Birthday Brunches during the fellowship hour on the last Sunday of each month. For February the date will be the 24th. Bring a dish to pass and your own table setting. All are welcome! MEMBERSHIP CARE PROJECT The Membership Care Committee of Grace United Methodist has been committed to carrying out local missions, always with the generous support of the congregation. This winter, we are repeating our project from last year which benefitted the WIC program (Women, Infants, and Children). This program has made use of our church four times each month for over 30 years. As was the case last year, the committee would like to collect toiletries/personal hygiene items and offer them for free to WIC clients. Our goal is to cover at least three of the four clinics held in February; if enough donations are collected, we would ideally cover their entire client base over all four February dates. The congregation was extremely generous with their donations last year, and we hope that we can match that level of support again this year. Please bring in items such as: deodorant, combs, brushes, lip balm, hand lotion, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, shampoo, wash cloths, hand towels, etc. (no razors please). With your help, Grace Church can extend our love of the Lord by filling this local need. Donations may be placed in the designated container outside of the Church Office through February. VALENTINE S DAY BAKE SALE! - CORNING MEALS ON WHEELS Treat your Valentine to delicious cakes and cookies while helping your senior neighbors in need! Order by February 6 th. Pick up on Wednesday, February 13 th, from 12 noon to 4 pm at Corning Meals on Wheels, 144 Cedar Street., To order, call ; cmowheels@aol.com or stop in at their office. Cookies: $10 per dozen / $6 for a half dozen Raspberry Pave - $15 - A white cake layered with raspberry cream, whipped frosting garnished with white chocolate curls. Serves six. Chocolate Diablo - $15 - A triple chocolate cake layered with almond buttercream, iced with chocolate ganache, and garnished with mini chocolate chips. Serves six.
