21 SOCIAL JUSTICE: COPPERFIELD Hosted a training for 22 people who signed up to be Harris County Deputy Voter Registrars. Wrote and delivered cards to VA hospital patients for Veterans Day and wrote and mailed holiday greeting cards for UU prisoners via the Church of the Larger Fellowship. This was a multigenerational activity called Service after the Service, the name inspired by Thoreau campus. Our Adult Faith Formation group met quarterly to discuss UUA Common Read or other UUA recommended books and films. Members have attended various SJ events and marches including the Women's Day March in Houston

22 SOCIAL JUSTICE: THOREAU Monthly collections for those in need Adoption of several Fort Bend families who were victims of Hurricane Harvey flooding Activities: Service after the Service projects, Furniture Bank for Hurricane Harvey victims, Toy Distribution to Low-income kids with the Street Lords and Ladies Motorcycle Club Thoreau Signature Project: Thoreau Scholarship Fund- 64% of those who have participated have graduated within four years

23 SOCIAL JUSTICE: MUSEUM DISTRICT Neighbor to Neighbor (formerly Healthy Parenting) Signature Project Fourth year of partnering with programs and institutions in the Third Ward: Project Row Houses, Lawson Middle School, Nehemiah Middle School and the Sankofa Center, Hands-on child care, tutoring, mentoring, job coaching Won acclaim from Lawson Middle School for its contributions to the mentoring program Social Justice Team Completed 14 community service projects Coordinated ongoing collections for Emergency Aid Coalition Piloting post-project participant surveys and use of social media Area-wide coordination of UU congregational participation in Pride Parade UUV4J (Unitarian Universalist Voices for Justice) Training and participation in social justice-related public events
