HENSEL IRTIUMCT: FILE REVIEW AE COMSTOCK MATERIAL On 6/10/67, SA HENSEL searced the volumes in an effort to locate the substance of the letters furnished dus by NOPD Officer RAYMOND COMSTOCK. In , our letter to USA LACOUR, we forwarded one copy of the following: 10 Two undated letters addressed to JACK WASSERMAN, Warner Bldg., Wash. D.C. signed D.W. FERRIE, bearing the return address of Room 307, Maya Excelsior, Guatemala. 2) An undated letter, addressed to Jack and signed Dave 3) An undated letter, addressed to Sr. JOSE JUIS LA ROCA, Guatemala 4) First page of DAVID W. FERRIE'S BANK BOOK with the Whitney Nat. Bank of NO On the same date, we forwarded two copies of the above to the Bureau witu these comments: "This material is Zero' copies of letters that were found by NOPD (dfficer RAYMOND COMSTOCK whend he conducted a search without a warrant of FERRIE's residence while attempting to arrest FERRIE.... These letters outline various strategh and investigation conducted by MARCELLO's attorneys in connection with the trial of MARCELLO at NO. It is known that FERRIE was in Guatemala during the month of October, 1963 and possibly early November, 1963; and FERRIE was closely associated with the MARCELLO attorney at the time of the trial of MARCELLO at NO.
