1 What God is Releasing in 2019 Doug Addison [Episode 77] January 9, 2019 Hey, everybody. Welcome to 2019 and our first Spirit Connection podcast of the year. You know, I released my prophetic word for the year just last week on my website, DougAddison.com. You can check it out. You can hear the audio version where I release the anointing and the deeper level on my Spirit Connection webcast that I do the first Wednesday of every month. And then, of course, I put that into a more condensed prophetic word on my blog. So, you can check that out, but I want to do something this week to get things started for the year. I want to take this deeper, because this is a year things are going deep and this is a year The Lord said, This is the year of the Lord s favor over you. Let s pray. Lord, we thank You that You re opening the heavens right now and there s so much power. There s so much flowing from Heaven all the time. It s just the enemy tries to get us to think it s not happening and tries to get us to think that we messed up. Basically, the dream thief comes. The thief only comes to steal from you. And now I take authority over that right now and we ask, Lord, that this revelation and what you re doing this year will not be stolen away in Jesus name. Amen. Wow! Well, I m really, really excited about this, because what s going on this year is very similar to Luke 3 and 4 and I had a visitation of the Lord. Actually, normally I get visitations around Rosh Hashanah/Yom Kippur that s the start of the Jewish New Year and I did. Boy, I got a powerful one about a narrow gate that s going to open and I m going to be going more into that in the next few episodes. But I want to tell you right now, the Lord came and He did something new and it wasn t just during that time. I ve actually gotten so many downloads from God that s revelation in modern day terms but I ve gotten so much that I ve just been having a little bit of difficulty keeping up with it. 2 The Lord said, Listen. What s going on right now is very similar to Luke 3 and 4 when Jesus went into ministry. If you read it, you ll see. It s right around that place where He gets baptized by John the Baptist. Look, like check it out. What happens first is the heavens open. The power of the Holy Spirit came upon Him and then the Father spoke. Now, in Jesus case, it was audible, but He spoke the words, This is My Son in whom I am well pleased. Then Jesus went off from there and He went into a wilderness time, but do you down what? That wilderness wasn t like what we think today. It was to prepare Him. So, it was also the time that when He came out of that, He overcame the enemy and it says angels came to Him. Then in Luke 4:18 He stands up this is before He does anything else in public ministry he stands up and reads from the book. It was a scroll that was open and He reads the words from Isaiah 61, which basically is His life calling. It was a prophetic word. Then He says the words, In this day, this has been fulfilled, (paraphrased). It s like, wow. That freaked them out because that says He s the Messiah, right? Well, this is what the Lord s doing right now. He s releasing greater favor over you. This is going to be a year where the heavens are going to open even greater. It doesn t matter if you receive it like I do. In fact, you re going to receive things like you do. At the level that you re at right now, God is going to now open a greater level of the impartation of the Holy Spirit like what happened to Jesus. The heavens opened, the Holy Spirit came. There s a new move coming right now. I don t know what the timing is, but it s coming and it s going to be released on us all that are looking for it. God is going to speak words of encouragement like He did with Jesus. He s going to speak your name. It might not be audible, but you re going to hear something. You re going to hear some confirming, loving words from the Father. Starting in January is when the Lord told me it would start. Not everyone might get it right away. You might need to contend for this, but look: What s going to happen is if you ve been in a wilderness time, you re going to come out just like Jesus came out of the wilderness. And you re going to start overcoming the things that overcome you. I saw people who have been, you know, struggling with addictions and all kinds of things all of a sudden have the power over that. Also, like with Jesus, angels are going to be assigned to you and you re going to open the Book of Life. This is like Jesus. He stood up. That was His prophecy. That was His Book of Life. Now, Psalm 139:16 says, All the days of your life they have been written in a book before one of them took place (paraphrased). They have been written in a book. So, there is a Book of Life over you. Hebrews 7 tells us that Jesus has a Book of Life. We see it here. Now, it s not a physical book. It s spiritual and it s in Heaven. So, you can listen to this in detail on my Spirit Connection webcast. I do it the first Wednesday of every month and I give you more of the you know, the details. But I want to give you the thrust of the things that God is speaking right now. 2

3 The Lord said to me, just like in Luke 4:18 when Jesus got up and read that Isaiah 61 passage. He said, This is going to be the year of the Lord s favor. This is going to be a time when the heavens are going to open, a new impartation of the Holy Spirit is going to come. New words are going to come from the Father over you. You re going to come through a time if you ve been in the wilderness, you re going to come out. And you re going to have angels assigned to you this year, and also your Book of Life is going to open. I m so excited. I m already experiencing this, you know, because I m a signs prophet. That means I get these things. I live them out and then I bring them to you and I overcome things. That s why I always recommend, you know, listening, not just, you know, reading what I have, but listen to it on my webcast and podcast and stuff like that, because that has greater impact as I bring the activation as well as the revelation. So Every year, I write a book. Since 2015, I received an impartation from the Lord to be able to write a book with my prophetic words. I have an Issachar anointing an anointing for times and seasons. I ve had that for a long time, actually all my life. I didn t realize it, but I ve been operating in it for a long time. That s why I can release the daily prophetic words. I get the monthly words. I get these things, because I operate like the sons of Issachar in the Old Testament. They understood the times and seasons. Now, it s great except I had trouble for years knowing what to do with it, because I got all this revelation, right, but, you know, sometimes those daily prophetic words or even the monthly words it is like manna from Heaven. Manna with the Israelites it was only good for one day and then it went bad. I m not saying this will go bad, but that s kind of like what my daily prophetic and my monthly words were. I really couldn t put them in a book. It was really hard for me, because I knew that there were things that needed to get into peoples spirits. I ve been doing this for quite some time and in 2015 I had an angelic encounter. An angel came to me and gave me the ability to shepherd or pastor those prophetic words and I was given this ability. He gave me a gift, basically, to be able to take my prophetic words and then put them into a book. So, I started releasing the Prophetic Forecast. I started it in 2016, the year after I released one for 2017, I did one for 2018, and this year would be volume 4. We stopped calling them the year of the, you know, like Prophetic Forecast by the year, because people didn t understand that it wasn t just for that year. There s powerful stuff in there and so the Lord gave me the strategy this year. I ve already written the book. What I do after every It s called the Days of Awe Rosh Hashanah/Yom Kippur right during that time I got all the revelation in 2018, right around September. Then I pulled it all together. It took me a couple of weeks. I wrote the manuscript for the book and before I could get it published, though, the Lord gave me a new strategy for releasing it and I m going to talk about that in a minute. 3

4 Now, I m going read from that book. It s not going to be published, of course, but I want to give you some of the revelation that the Lord gave me and we re going to be doing more deeper-level training as well. So, what s coming for 2019? New revelation, discernment and timing is coming. The Lord showed me Isaiah 48:6 7. From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you. They are created now, and not long ago; you have not heard of them before today. Isaiah 48:6 7 NIV That s coming right now. The prophetic is going to shift. It s going to take a shift and we re going to start hearing new stuff, because there has been some of it You know, I m not making any judgment call here, but there has been some prophecy that has kind of felt like there s been a theme over and over, the same type of thing. But the Lord said 2019 starts a new level of prophetic release. Watch for this. Many people who have been crying out for directions, for strategies they re going to suddenly get it. Many people have been going through difficult seasons. These prayers are now being answered by God. He s going to reveal the secrets, the mysteries that s what He said. They are new to you. These are new things. They ve been hidden until now and this is the revelation that has been stored away and it has been kept on hold for this very time of your life. God is going to summon you by name. He s going to do something that you know that it s Him. He s going to speak your name in some way. You know, He does that. If you read John 20 when Mary went to the tomb. Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and Jesus wasn t in the tomb. He was risen again, but He was behind her. He looked like the gardener and she turned around and it says she didn t realize it was Jesus. Because when the Lord goes to do something new, even those closest to Him might not recognize it. Then He spoke her name, Mary. Now, you might not get your specific name spoken, but you re going to get something from the Lord. So, watch for the Lord to reveal hidden revelation from the past. These are new things. These are things that God has spoken to you previously. Maybe there have been dreams or prophetic words that didn t come to pass or something like that,but watch for God to surprise you with fun, new things. I heard Ezekiel 44:23. They are to teach my people the difference between the holy and the common and show them how to distinguish between the unclean and the clean. Ezekiel 44:23 NIV 4

5 Then the Lord said, There is a new level of the gift of discernment being released right now. Many of My people have been holding back from moving forward, because they re afraid of being deceived. Fear is one of the biggest attacks right now and this is going to change. The Lord said. He says, I m going to now start speaking clearly, give you confirmation. And as you step away from fear, put the fear behind you, get the fear cast out, you will find new confidence this year to be able to step into what God is revealing for you. He also spoke Habakkuk 2:3. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay. Habakkuk 2:3 NIV So, many people have been suffering from discouragement or not seeing God s answers. This is a thing called, Hope deferred makes the heart sick, (Proverbs 13:12 NIV). So, God s going to start answering some prayers. They might not be the way you think or some of the ones you want, but I tell you, listen, the Lord has stored up your prayers. Every time you ve prayed and you haven t seen an answer, I saw The Lord showed me in Heaven there are storehouses and now the storehouses of unanswered prayers are about to be released this year. God s going to change things around you and there are going to be some things Some of it, you know, has been delayed it seems, but it is because the Lord. He knows. Even with me. I tell you, I ve been waiting on some of these things. I know there s been revival. I ve been even writing it in my books and the revival hasn t happened, but that doesn t make it a false prophecy. I just didn t know when it was going to happen. You know, there are some prophecies and there is some revelation Jesus said even about things with Him. With the second coming of Christ, Jesus said He didn t even know. The angels don t even know, only the Father. I tell you, there are things like that that the Lord hides and He will do it. He s doing something this year. God is going to help you sort through what He s been speaking to you to know what to focus on now and this will be very important. This is called the gift of wisdom. He s going to impart wisdom to you. Wisdom and understanding. It will be important to let go of things from the past season and to get a clear vision of what God is doing right now. He s going to highlight some prophetic words and promises from the Bible. He s also going to highlight some of the things that He s spoken to you in the past. And then things are going to suddenly make sense. So, there s some new prayer strategies being released from Heaven right now on how to get your breakthrough, how to get out of the wilderness, how to get your 5

6 breakthrough financially and relationally. This is a time right now in which God is going to reveal and heal the things that have been holding you back. God is going to reveal hidden plans of the enemy. He s going to show you what s been up against you even in the areas of your destiny, including your health, relationships, and finances. It s now time for the heavens to open, the Holy Spirit to come upon you, to speak to you like the Lord spoke to Jesus. It s now time to step into the year of the Lord s favor. It s now time for your Book of Life to open. And I am so excited about what God s doing and I want to just release more of this. You know, when Jesus stepped up there at the start of His ministry (Luke 4:18 19) He read this. The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord s favor. Luke 4:18 19 NIV Then, of course, He says the famous words, In your presence this has now been fulfilled, (paraphrased). There it was. There was Jesus Book of Life right there and this is about to happen to all of us. We re going to step up and declare the year of the Lord s favor. Now, new gates in the spirit are going to open as well this year. Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure. Isaiah 46:10 NKJV This is what the Lord is saying. He s saying right now He s going to show you some things. He declares the end from the beginning. This is what the prophetic is. People misunderstand it. They get mad at God. They think the enemy s robbed them, and they think God s wrong and the prophets are wrong. Oh my goodness, that s not it at all. If you re getting hit hard or you re not seeing these things happen, these prophetic words maybe I m releasing words or other people are releasing words If you re not seeing the breakthrough, don t blame it on God. That might be why you re not seeing the breakthrough. He wants to heal you of those things. The enemy will come against you but, I tell you listen to me. That s when you know you should press in even more. That s when you know. When you re not seeing the results of what God has promised to you, that s when you need to get this revelation to see what the Lord wants to bring and what it is that the enemy is doing. Now, I pray a prayer on a regular basis, Lord, show me what the enemy doesn t want me to see. I pray that every day and He will. He ll show you what has been hidden from 6

7 you. You need to press in. So, right now, God is moving and keeping things in a timing for Him. I remember, I was pressing in to get healed, to get repaid, for several years. It didn t seem to be happening, but I knew it s already done in Heaven. The Lord s words are true. Listen to me. You have to get that into your spirit. God s words are true and it is not God doing the bad things in the world. For several years, it seemed like every time I d take a step forward, I d go backwards. I walked through 4 years of affliction but, I tell you, in the midst of it, God blessed me 4 times in every area of our ministry on the internet. When I wasn t able to travel again God came in. He ll do it, but do you know what? I never gave up believing the promises. I never gave up believing what the Lord had said or who He is. That s the important thing. You re about to see some things happen and God is going to do what would be called a sudden breakthrough. Some people call it a suddenly. I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come, says the Lord Almighty. Malachi 3:1 NIV God is preparing the way right now. He s going before you. Expect to see some amazing surprises, sudden breakthroughs. For me, after laboring to get healed for 4 years even announcing a few times I got healed because it looked like it then I got, you know, smacked around a bit. But I never talked about it publicly, because I never wanted to give glory to Satan. I don t want to give glory to the enemy. But I tell you, it came for me all of a sudden, February 14, I tell you, right around the gift of love. You know, there was a gift of love from the Lord. I had a sudden shift. I had a sudden breakthrough. I m now restored to health and I ve got, you know, several months of restoration in my body. I still need to gain some weight. I d gone down. People didn t know it maybe. I was 165 pounds. You know, I m a thin, 6-foot guy, but I went down to 129 at one point. I had to break through this but, I tell you, I stood and I stood and I stood and then suddenly I got the breakthrough. I don t believe sickness is from God. It s from Satan. It s from the enemy of the soul and, yes, the Lord uses things like this in your life, but it is not from Him. Do not accept this. Do not think this is your cross to bear. Uh-huh. Do not come into agreement with sickness. Yes, the Lord used these 4 years in my life. I tell you, I got so deep in the word. I got so close with the Lord and I wouldn t trade that part for anything, but I would trade, you know, being afflicted for 4 years definitely but do not come into agreement with the 7

8 enemy right now. That s such an important thing. God s words and ways are true. His spiritual principles throughout the Bible You know, if two agree together it will be done. This is a positive and negative. You know, Satan can do the same thing to you. If we agree together on Earth it will be done, but if you start agreeing with the enemy it can be done. I m telling you, these things Satan will copy. He s a counterfeit and a copy, so many of the spiritual principles of agreement That s why you don t want to come into agreement with one of the names of Satan, which is the accuser of the brothers and sisters. You don t want to fall into judgments and you don t want to come into believing that your situation can t be changed, that God is angry at you. I want to help you with this. There s something going on right now and there s an important principle of getting your breakthrough and it is faith. It is believing the things. Hebrews 11:1 is basically the things that are not, they are true even though you don t see them. And once you align yourself with those things, I tell you, the spiritual gates will open over you. The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head. Micah 2:13 NIV The Lord is at work right now. He s going ahead of you right now, just like He did with me. But you need to come into agreement with Heaven and not Earth, come into agreement with the Bible, come into agreement with love, not judge. These are the principles that will keep the heavens open. So, the heavens aren t just going to open for everybody this year. The year of the Lord s favor is not just going to be a blanket thing. You need to press in and get it and there s a strong breakthrough anointing right now being released. It was started last September. God is outside any limitations of time. So, this prophetic word is applicable whenever you read it. So, what is a spiritual gate, I talk about them a lot, or a breakthrough anointing? It s a modern lingo of God opening opportunities and bringing sudden changes. It can include giving you a supernatural ability or gifts and allowing you to go through times of limitations or issues that you re facing, so it will reveal the things in your soul or flesh that need to get healed. I tell you, the Lord starts moving in your life and then the enemy says, Wait a minute, you know, there s some things in here that you have, either generationally or in your own actions that may be limiting you and then you need to get healed or get some inner healing, get some prayer. That s when you come into agreement on Earth as it is in Heaven. So, watch for your breakthrough to happen. Watch for things to start to change quickly. God is opening up things for you right now and we re going to see what some people 8

9 call suddenlies. I call them just sudden breakthroughs. And you re going to see the Lord going before you to break open the way and you re going to see the impartation of angels. You re going to see the outpouring of blessing, the outpouring of justice. It s already started on the Earth. That s why all these injustices are being shown around the world, you know, but the Lord is going to do something that is going to really get your attention. He s going to speak your name, He s going to open the heavens over you. He s going to do a deeper impartation of the Holy Spirit and power and He s going to open your book. You re going to see a shift in the spiritual atmosphere. So, I would recommend listening to my Spirit Connection webcast, January Listen to it again. Listen to this again, because it takes a few times. Some people even put it on overnight and soak in this, you know, because it gets into your spirit. Also, one of the things that God is doing this year is that you need to get the mind of Christ. You need to get into the thinking of the Lord s ways, because human thinking and the ways of man, the wisdom of man, will not work in From here on out, I tell you, this is a time that God wants to align you with Heaven. You have everything you need, by the way. I don t know if you realize that. You ve got the Holy Spirit. You ve got the power the raised Jesus from the dead residing in you. You ve got people around you, whether you realize it, I mean, whether you like them or not or you feel overpowered, you do. You ve got the internet. You ve got my podcast and my webcast. You ve got these things right now. The daily prophetic words can help lift you up. I m telling you, right now, to step in, start to declare and decree these things, because your Book of Life is about to open and God is moving in new ways beyond anything that you ve seen before. So, Lord, I activate this prophetic word right now. What You re doing is very similar to the time when You came (Luke chapter 3 and 4). You told me this, Lord, that there s a new impartation of the Holy Spirit. The heavens are going to open, there s going to be favor coming out of the wilderness, angels assigned. You re going to speak our name in some way. You re going to give us confirmation, and You re going to open our Books of Life and we re going to start to see things. Lord, I pray right now, speak to everybody here. Activate this word, in Jesus name. Amen. Well, I m actually pretty excited. I mentioned first of all that we normally do a Prophetic Forecast book. I started after an angelic encounter I had in 2015, when I was given this ability, this gift, and an angel came to me. And I was then able to pull together all my prophetic words and suddenly I released the Prophetic Forecast Volume 1, 2 and 3. This would have been Volume 4. Now, I did write it. I wrote the book and then the Lord stopped me. He said, No, instead of releasing in a book, He says, I want you to do something else. I want you to release it in an online training workshop, like I do with the rest of my revelation. It s just how the Lord showed me to do things. So, we re going to be doing On January 19 th, 10 a.m. to noon, we re going to be doing a special online training called Opening Your Book of Life: How to Reveal and 9

10 Activate Your Destiny. This is the deeper level of the prophetic word for the entire year. Now, I m releasing the word for free and it s on my webcast and this podcast is free, as well as next week. I m going to go into deeper levels of it next week as well. So, stay tuned next week where I talk about the books. I talk about how to open the books over you. I talk about how to get greater favor. I do these things for free, but there s an online training that I ll be doing on January 19th. There s a small charge for it. You ll get the notes and I ll go deeper with you on how to open the heavens, how to recognize the book and deal with any of the curses to get the book open, and I ll be releasing the deep, deep level that the Lord had given me, so there s a difference. The Lord said this is a year of impartation as well, and you will want to get this, because He said that, you know, people read the book and they get information. He wants to turn the revelation from the book by using this online training where I can actually speak it into your life and walk with you and give you some notes and some exercises to do so that we can open the heavens and you can get, instead of revelation, you get activation and impartation.
