1 A Vision from Heaven: New Promotions and Alliances Forming Doug Addison [Episode 52] May 9, 2018 Hey, everybody. Welcome to another Spirit Connection Podcast. This is Doug Addison and I have an encouraging word specifically for mothers. You know, it s Mother s Day this weekend, but it s also for spiritual mothers, it s for men. And I also have a prophetic word over relationships, divine alliances, and things that are happening in the spirit right now. So, get ready. I tell you, there s something new shifting in the spiritual realm, and I want you to receive it. So, let s pray. God, we thank You for mothers and fathers. We thank You just for what You re doing in the spiritual realm. There s something happening right now, and You re aligning and realigning. You re doing something, and greater understanding is being released. Even during this podcast there s going to be greater understanding into what You re doing in the spiritual realm. Open it up right now. Give us spiritual ears to hear and eyes to see, in Jesus Name. Amen. Well, you know, the Bible is pretty clear. Exodus 20:12 says, honor your father and your mother, that you may live long in the land that God is giving you. So, there s power in honoring our parents. You know, whether it s spiritual or biological, there is just something about it no matter what your experience is. Maybe you had a great experience with those in authority and your parents, or maybe you didn t, but there s still power in honoring, and there is a way to do that. And it s important to learn what Jesus said. You know, bless those who curse you if that s the case, or honor your mother and your parents. I m not trying to say anything bad at all about parents. In fact, I am one. I m a grandparent, actually. My mom, I tell you, she s my biggest intercessor in Heaven. She graduated to Heaven in 1999 after suffering a long illness. I ve never seen anyone stay positive and keep the faith all the way to the end, even in the midst of hospice care and being frail and weak. I remember this. She was moving her lips and she motioned for me, and I put my ear down to her mouth and she said, Praise the Lord. Copyright 2018 Doug Addison and InLight Connection. All Rights Reserved.

2 You know, no matter what you experience... Maybe you re currently in a situation. I tell you, we can learn something from this. We can learn something from those who have suffered. We can learn something from those who have the gift of encouragement. My mom had this gift, and that s why if you hear my encouraging words you ll know where I got it from. I get my prophetic and my evangelistic gift from my mother. Her name was Paula. Pauline was her born name, but she was an amazing woman of God. You know, I had an encounter. She died in 1999, and I had an encounter in Years later after my mother had gone to Heaven, I was having dinner alone at my house in Santa Maria because my wife had gone out. And suddenly the presence of God came into the dining room of our house, and I felt the spirit of my mother come and sit next to me. Now, I thought, Wow! This is freaky. This really is strange. Because it was a powerful, powerful encounter. I m thinking, you know, Does Jesus know you re here? Because that s weird. Then I felt something. I felt the presence of the Lord increase. It was so strong, I was kind of getting drunk and tipsy in the spirit. So, I went into the living room, sat down and then suddenly this presence comes and sits next to me. Of course, I m praying over it to make sure this is the Lord, you know, and I felt something. I felt a touch on my arm and a whisper into my right ear, and I knew it was the Holy Spirit. I know the voice of the Lord, but it was also I knew it was the voice of an angel. I tell you, this was such a powerful encounter because I thought it was my mom s spirit. But the angel spoke into my spirit. I didn t hear an audible thing. I didn t see anyone. But it was just one of those encounters, you know it s the Lord. The angel said to me, I was just in your mother s presence in Heaven, and I ve come here to give you a message. And that s why you felt it was your mother s spirit. Wow! I never thought of this. This could actually explain a lot. When people think that their dead mother or dead grandmother came in the house, it could be their angel coming to you. You know, it was a powerful encounter and without going into all the details of that one, that was Then a year later I put my oldest sister into a nursing home. She was suffering from the same disease and some of the illnesses that my mother died from. And my entire family tragically was nearly completely wiped out by Huntington s disease. Now, if you ve heard my testimony, I was diagnosed with it in My mother died from that and other complications. But I was healed of it, and I m actually a living testimony now, being almost 60. I m 59 years old, and they want to put me in a study because of this. There are people in my family who passed, and even in the United States and around the world it s a great miracle. But let me tell you something. This goes back right here. I was cleaning out my sister s apartment in 2011, this was a year after the angel encounter, and while I was cleaning out the apartment... You know, it was very sad 2

3 because she was very young. She was in her early 60s. You know, that s just something you just don t want to have to deal with being the youngest brother. You put your loving sister into a nursing home. And she s now in Heaven as well. While I was cleaning out my sister s apartment, I found some letters that were written back in the 1980s from my mother to my sister. I didn t even know about them. My mom wrote a letter, I think it might have been around 1986, and she described an encounter that she had while working as a hostess in a restaurant in Texas. She said this. I remember reading it and, wow, this was so powerful. She said, You know, I saw this man sitting in the restaurant, and the Lord began to move on me to pray for him. She said this. I felt something touch my arm and a whisper in my right ear to go and encourage this man sitting there. And as it turned out, he was going through a divorce and my mom got to pray for him and minister to him. Wow! This is long before prophetic evangelism. This was back in Now, I was one of the forerunners for using prophecy and dream interpretation as a means of sharing God s love, and that actually was one of the examples there. I didn t even realize this. My mom was operating in this gift years and years ago. So, here I am standing in my sister s apartment, very sad because of what I was going through. But then suddenly I remembered the encounter that I had just one year before, where my mom s angel came in. I felt while I m in my sister s apartment, a year later I felt the touch again on my arm, and I could hear the voice whisper into my ear. It was in the spirit, but I could feel it in my right hear just as my mom described. And also, just as I had experienced the year before, the angel was there in my sister s apartment. I didn t see anything, but I just knew the presence of the Lord was there. Listen. The angel said as I read the letter from 1986 the angel said, That was me that touched you mom and whispered in her ear. And right now I m now being assigned to you from your mother. Wow! So, I was given an angel that my mother used to operate in, and it s just been a powerful, powerful blessing. It s an inheritance that many people get, but they don t realize. You can have these things, and I ve just trained myself. Years later, you know, I m operating in the prophetic gifting, so I have a greater understanding. But I remember things happening like this a long time ago like, to my mom. She didn t know she was having such a supernatural encounter back in 1986 in the restaurant. To her it was just maybe a normal occurrence, or maybe she would just assume it was the Holy Spirit or something. But do you know what? Wow! This is something. I have a heritage of growing up with a prophetic, praying mom. You know, when you have a powerful, praying, prophetic, Pentecostal mom you can t get away with anything! You know, it was just a rich heritage that I had when I grew up. I remember my mom. I would do something, you know, and my mom would be standing at the door when I 3

4 came in. What did you do? I never knew how she knew those things, but now I understand. It was a prophetic gifting. I never understood how she knew to do the things that she did. She knew when to buy something. You know, at the store she felt called to buy something, then she would run into someone with that very need. Or we would go to a certain place. She felt compelled to go to that place and, just like the guy in the restaurant, she knew who to talk to, when to pray. It was a normal way of life. But now I m looking back and I m associating this today that s interaction with Heaven. This is a time right now that God is interacting on Earth as it is in Heaven. He s giving us understanding of things that have already happened or have been happening, and it s going to be opening up even greater. Now, this is Mother s Day this week. And whether you re listening to this later or you re a mother or not, I have this encouragement. Last year in 2017 in fact, it was on May 14, 2017 I was in the midst of the 50 days of encounters, where the Lord took me behind a veil in Heaven in which I saw visions. I would open the Bible and read things. I would see interactive visions that could not be explained, and I would have to dictate them. Explain, meaning it s just hard to tell. I don t know if I was there or what, but it was just a very powerful time. I ve written some of them in my Prophetic Forecast, Volume 3. I ve spoken about it. I want to share this one. This is from my heavenly journal from Mother s Day You know, as I opened the Bible and began to pray I went into the place in the spirit. And I was taken there, and the Lord said to me, This is the day that you honor mothers on Earth. But I tell you, mothers are honored every day in Heaven. Their purpose and life are often misunderstood, and things they do appear to be humble and hidden. But in Heaven their actions and prayers are very powerful. A prayer of a righteous woman is powerful and effective, the Lord said. Jesus pointed towards a section in Heaven that was dedicated to the prayers of mothers and women. I knew that this wasn t just biological mothers, but it was also spiritual mothers. And their prayers would come before the Lord each day in this part of Heaven, and angels would be assigned to their requests. There s just something powerful about this. And as I was watching the prayers of the women on Earth that went up into Heaven, and the angels capturing them, and then other angels. Actually, angels would scribe them and capture the prayers into books. And then other angels were assigned who had authority to release the prayers, and the resources as answers to the prayers, when the right time would come for the release of it. There were angels turning some of these prayers into songs that were being sung during this process. It was like nothing I have ever seen on Earth. The closest thing... I remember my Bible opening to Psalm 56:8 in The Passion Translation. 4

5 You ve kept track of all my wandering and my weeping. You ve stored my many tears in a bottle not one will be lost. [You care about my every need, every time I ve cried, for it is] all recorded in your book of remembrance. Then I m standing next to Jesus, and I saw shelves of books that had been recorded with the prayers of people, and this section was women and mothers. It was lining the walls and it went on for eternity. I mean, there were books of remembrance from these prayers that had not been answered. Actually, there were millions of books of unanswered prayer when I was seeing this in And I was thinking that, Wow, this is going to take a long time to answer these. You know, like we would need a scene out of Bruce Almighty. You know, I really was thinking something like that. I m thinking, This is a lot of, I mean, there are millions of books up there. Then the Lord stood up. He raised His hands, then literally millions of angels came and took each book off the shelf and carried it to a section of Heaven that had the person s life or calling in that section. And the Lord said, Watch for answers to these prayers to start coming, but it may look differently than what you expect. I was shown my own book of unanswered prayers that had been prayed by my mother and other women who have been praying for me over the years. It was just such an exciting time because, remember, the singing was going on of the prayers, and there was music, and the Lord was there. There was just something going on. Jesus said, Many women have sown in tears, but they are about to reap a harvest of joy. Many are now being promoted with new authority. New spiritual gifts are coming to them. Then I saw an angel holding a golden scroll. This angel began to read the scroll of the names of women being promoted. The scroll looked very small actually, but it kept going and going and going and going. And the Lord said, These are the names of the women who are receiving honor in Heaven, and they are about to receive favor and honor on Earth. I watched and as each name was read, an angel was dispatched to that person on Earth. And the women who were receiving the blessings, the repayment, new anointing, new spiritual gifts began to get activated. Some of them had not even realized this was actually being done. Now, listen. This happened in May I want to just stop for a minute and unpack it because we started seeing the injustices of women become exposed after this time. This is because God began to move with the answers to prayers, and we started to see the promotion of women start to happen. And when you get promoted or the Lord begins to answer prayers, one of the first things that happens is the books of justice get opened. And where there have been injustices, there are going to be a balancing of the books in Heaven. And that s why we re seeing or that s why we did last year in 2017 we began to see it. And then in 2018, we started to see injustices. Now, it wasn t just being 5

6 exposed, but now injustices being repaid, and people being repaid. Now, back to my encounter. These are the names of the women who were being promoted. They finally got completed. The angel read it. (Now, this is going on all the time. It s not just one time last year. It s happening all the time. In fact, it s happening again this year, 2018, and the Lord says He s doing this right now.) And the angel holding the scroll said, Let it be recorded in the books of Heaven the names of these women who have been promoted this day. Then I saw a scribe angel record all the names in a book, and it was taken to the Library of Heaven and placed amongst these books, called Books of Promotion in Heaven. I knew that this was biblical because it s Psalm 87:6, The Lord will write in the register of the peoples. I was wondering about the prayers and promotions of the men at that point. You know, I mean, I m a man. I m standing in this place, you know, I just thought it. That s the way it is in Heaven. I thought it in this encounter, and the Lord spoke to me. I was told that this is just one section of Heaven dedicated to the prayers of mothers and women, not just physical biological, but spiritual as well. There s another section with the prayers and promotions of men, and the Lord chose each day each year in this case, I saw it happening that Mother s Day was a time of the release of promotion and the unanswered prayers. So, the Lord spoke to me that many men are about to be promoted on Father s Day as well. I do realize that Mother s and Father s Day are, you know, they were probably invented by man. But the Lord uses it to honor mothers and fathers, and there s a time that we re going to see men also begin to get promoted in the month of June and every year at this time. I saw this happening, and it s happening right now. Back to the encounter. As God is bringing the promotion to the men and women, I saw new partnerships and teams begin to form. As both men and women are now being promoted right now, we re given new spiritual gifts. There are forming new what I would call a divine alliance. That s where two are better than one. And this is relationally: it could be business, it could be ministry. There s just some power when two gifts come together as one. God is bringing both men and women together right now to form strategic teams to have a greater impact for the Kingdom. Over the next few months, right now you re going to see (this is a word for now) You re going to see something happen in the spirit, and there are going to be new unities come together. There are going to be new divine alliances for ministries, for businesses. The focus will be on the Kingdom of God and God s will, and we re going to be now getting aligned for the coming revival. Matthew 13:44: 6

7 [But] the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in the field. When a man [or a woman] found it he hid it again, and then he went in his joy and sold it all and bought that field. As these things begin to happen, it s going to be like finding that hidden treasure. Now if you follow my prophetic words, I just released this particular word. I didn t even realize it until I m reading this, but this word out of this verse I released it in April 2018, not realizing that the Lord is now fulfilling this. This is a time that God is going to bring you joy. He s going to bring you to a place where, once you grab hold of it Like what I got when I grabbed hold of something, I found the treasure hidden in the field back in I had just gotten healed of Huntington s disease. I wasn t in any big shape or anything, no one knew me. But suddenly the Lord began to speak to me, and we sold it all and went after it. Now, you don t have to do that, but we did. We pretty much We kept our personal belongings, but we went after what God had for us. Many people, you know, they get excited about something but forget to go back to it. God s going to begin to renew the promises for you. You know, He made some of them years ago. Maybe it s people who prayed for you years ago. Maybe you don t even know your biological parents, or maybe you don t have anyone in your life or spiritual parents. The Lord knows that, and someone is praying for you right now. So, we re going to start hearing the Lord right now speak to you, both men and women, about the hidden treasure. And there s going to bring about new effectiveness. There s going to be a new release in Heaven that comes with these partnerships and these promotions are formed, both men and women, as they come together. God is going to change the hearts of people, and those that you thought were the least likely will suddenly become awakened to the Lord. That s what s happening right now with the coming revival. A fresh strategy is going to be released from Heaven to establish a new major move bringing revival on Earth. And in the midst of this couples, ministry partners, and business alliances are going to start to come together for the purposes of the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven. Some of these will be existing marriages. They are going to be strengthened. When I saw this, it kind of goes back to my original encounter that I had back in 1991, where the Lord showed me a divine alliance coming. He called it end time marriages at the time, but I knew that it had all kinds of baggage around the word end times. So, I ve released this several times, but the Lord said this is happening right now. The focus will no longer be on worldly possessions, on traditional family life even. We ll have families and everything, but there s going to be a new focus and a new strategy that s going to come for businesses because we need money for the new revival, for ministries coming together. Some ministries and churches will actually close and form a new alliance in the city to become stronger, or in your neighborhood. You re going to 7

8 see this stuff start to happen, and the right people will be brought together at the right time to create an effective release of anointing and finances. This is a synergy in the spirit. It s going to look strange to some people because what I saw happening back in 1991 when I had the encounter with the end time marriages, divine alliances I saw that race, age, social background did not matter in these marriages and these business partnerships. And people who had not seen themselves as going into ministry will actually suddenly their entire life will become ministry. Many men and women have been kept single for a long time, and then suddenly God had spared them from marrying, or many of them maybe got divorced or even their spouses may have passed away and died, but God says He s doing something new. New things are coming on the scene right now. Maybe you ve heard me talk about my message, the divine alliances, where the Lord told me (this is a word right out of it), A time is coming, the Lord says, that I m going to do a strategic move in My Kingdom. I m going to suddenly move upon people, and there s going to be a greater purpose and effectiveness come. Many of you have felt forgotten, or maybe you ve messed up or these promises of the Lord went away. Maybe you heard the Lord to get married and the other person You re divorced, or they died. You know, the Lord In many cases, you didn t hear wrong. The other person might have said no, and so that s why we ve seen such a strange thing happening. The Lord says, I m moving on marriages, ministries, and business partnerships, and these things are going to accomplish My will. What you could not do alone will suddenly come together strategically. Now, that was a major visitation again that I had in I released it during a period of time... Actually, I couldn t release it back then, because from 1991 to 1995 I lived this out myself. I was in a terrible place when I got that. I could have never handled what God wanted to bring in that revelation when I was visited by an angel at Big Sur. I was going through a divorce at the time. It was very messy. You know, it was a mess basically. But the Lord brought my divine alliance, my wife Linda. We ve now been married for 22 years. And we came together as ministry partners, as our marriage has been committed to planting churches and InLight Connection and things like that. But I want to tell you, it didn t just happen overnight. God gave me a new business strategy between 1991 and I didn t get married until I didn t even know Linda when I had the encounter. He gave me financial business strategies that would allow us to be able to go do, later on, what He called me to do. 8

9 I was working a 9-to-5 job, not making a lot of money living in San Francisco. That s why it wasn t a lot, because it s so expensive there. But He gave me strategies in how to start a computer business that later went on to help fund and finance our entire ministry. So that was a divine alliance. So, there s power in agreement. Deuteronomy 32:30 describes a principle where one can put a thousand to flight and two 10,000. In Matthew 18:19, Again I tell you, if two of you agree together on earth about anything you ask for it will be done by my Father in heaven. There s power in agreement. In Ecclesiastes 4:9, Two are better than one because they have a better return for their work. So, God moves and we re going to see something happen, and there s going to be a start of it. Actually, right now during this time between Mother s Day and Father s Day, there s going to be strategically happen. It s not limited to that time, by the way. If you re listening to this, God is outside of time. Prophecy is outside of time. You can claim this. You can grab hold of it. But the Lord showed me the strangest things, that some spouses will not agree. When this starts to happen, they might divorce. That s not God s will, but it is His will to restore you. Some were kept single again, some were widowed. And then suddenly God s going to release that movement to draw together people. I ve already been seeing it happen. It happened in my life early on. Later on, my sister There were four of us in the family: my mom, my brother and my sister are in Heaven now. But my other sister, who is more prophetic than me (I tell you, she has a powerful gift), she also had Huntington s disease and got healed. You know, there s just something happening. She was a divine alliance. She had the same type of thing. All of a sudden, after being widowed for 17 years, the Lord brought a man into her life. I tell you, the two of them together, they have the same calling. They have a very similar calling, even though they had different backgrounds. And the Lord brought them together in one purpose several years ago. So, what s happening is I ve been seeing this happen all over the place. Now, some actually have been taken to Heaven early. This is not to cause fear as I say this, but just know this. I ve been trying to release this word to understand Heaven, just like my mom died and she s in Heaven. She s my greatest intercessor. When you have those who went on before you from your generation, those can be the cloud of 9

10 witnesses mentioned in Hebrews. They pray because they want to see their callings be fulfilled on Earth. John 12:24, Jesus says, Very truly I say to you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. So you can t make this happen. You cannot make this prophetic word don t even try it. Don t even try to get married outside of God s will. Don t try to divorce based on that. You don t try, you know, like stepping up by faith. I m going to take this word of Doug Addison by faith. This particular word Let God open it up to you because as He does it, we re going to see something happen. We re going to see the strategic alliances that couples, business strategies start to come. Instead of seeing the large number of unequally yoked marriages like we do right now, we re going to start to see a larger number of equally yoked families, couples, businesses, churches, ministries that are going to come together in unity for this new move that s happening right now. Now, when I read John 12:24 about a seed dying Jesus had to die before His calling that the Lord gave the Earth could actually produce more seeds. It might also be a prophetic promise that you had. You might need to die to it. The Lord s going to release new strategies right now. He s releasing strategies from Heaven. And now mothers and fathers over the next few months, spiritual mothers and fathers, even those who are not married I tell you right now, the Lord is doing promotions. So watch for the unanswered prayer. I began to see unanswered prayer... Since then, I ve had another encounter where I saw a place in Heaven where every time you pray, or I pray individually, and we don t see an answer, it goes into a storehouse. There was never one time, never one moment, never one prayer that God didn t answer in some way, that He placed it in the storehouse. And He s about to release The storehouses of Heaven are about to be released over us. The promotion of men and women are about to release, and it s not just boys and girls as well. We re going to see some radical things happen. There is about to be a release out there. So, Lord, we thank You for this word. And I submit this out there to those who feel the presence and the power on this. I ask that You would open the heavens, and that You would allow on Earth as it is in Heaven. Just like my mom was having an encounter in 1986 that she had no idea. It was an angel there. She had no idea she would write a letter that, years later, would activate her son into prophetic evangelism and to be one of the forerunners in what You re doing on Earth right now. 10

11 I want to say this right now: Even as a spiritual father, a spiritual mother or grandparents, you have an authority on Earth to pray and release things in the spiritual realm on Earth as it is in Heaven, in Jesus Name. Amen. All right. Well, you know, there s just something going to happen. I m excited to see how this word is going to play out a little bit. I ve released it a few times, not in this I m talking about my end time marriages word. I ve released it a few times because I see it start to manifest from time to time. But the part about the mothers and the fathers being promoted, this happened last year and I m starting to see it again this year. So, I would go back and listen to this a few times, and especially if you know someone who needs to be encouraged, get this message to them. Because I know the Lord s going to move in peoples lives. And hope deferred makes the heart sick because a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. The Lord is now releasing trees of life over you, longings fulfilled. All right. God bless you.
