2 Good Friday Tenebrae Service April 14, :00 p.m. Remembering Christ s Suffering and Death for Us ENTER IN SILENCE The word tenebrae means darkness and refers specifically to a service of worship in which the progressive extinguishing of candles represents the snuffing out of the life of Christ. Our Easter observance today continues the service which began last night (Maundy Thursday). Use this time of reflection to remember Christ s time in the Upper Room with His disciples and His time of prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane. Please turn off or silence all communication devices.
