1 My Year of Breakthrough Accountability Pastor Eddie Turner Sunday, January 28, 2018 Ecc. 4:7-12(NLT)- I observed yet another example of something meaningless under the sun. 8 This is the case of a man who is all alone, without a child or a brother, yet who works hard to gain as much wealth as he can. But then he asks himself, Who am I working for? Why am I giving up so much pleasure now? It is all so meaningless and depressing. 9 Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. 10 If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. 11 Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? 12 A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. -- We must always try and remember, that as Christians, our kingdom is not of this world and our citizenship is more than the physical and temporal world that we see. -- Col. 1:12-13(NLT)- 12 always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. 13 For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son - Col. 1:13(NLT)- For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son. -

2 I am not ignorant, living for Christ has far more benefits than living for the devil. I admit, I am righteously selfish. I would rather serve someone who gives me life and life more abundantly- than someone who steals from me, tries to kill and destroy me. - Prov. 13:15(NLT)- A person with good sense is respected; a treacherous person is headed for destruction. --- Prov. 13:15(KJV)- 15 Good understanding giveth favor: but the way of transgressors is hard Rom. 2:9(NLT)- There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil for the Jew first and also for the Gentile. Luke 18:28-30(NLT)- 28 Peter said, We ve left our homes to follow you. 29 Yes, Jesus replied, and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God, 30 will be repaid many times over in this life, and will have eternal life in the world to come. In 2018 we embrace and declare our benefits as members of the Kingdom of God!

In As Believers in Christ, We Are Blessed: Eph. 1:3(NLT)- All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ We learned that the word blessed means - happy and to be in a fortunate position due to God s favor. I am blessed- because I am united with Christ. -- How do I get the blessings which belong to me, as a member of God s family, to operate in a kingdom of darkness? -- Through our actions and attitude, we can release God s blessings on our life or prohibit God s blessings on our life. --

4 Col. 1:12(NLT)- 12 always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. -- Satan s Painful Interruption/ God s Course Adjustment 2018-Is My Year of Blessing Is My Year of Breakthrough Hebrews 12:1(NLT)- Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us Decide that 2018, will be the year that we breakthrough all the stuff that has been hanging on and holding us back from enjoying freedom and fulfillment in life ). Realize God s Will for Your Life is Freedom: Because of where they came from; what has been spoken over them; what they have been through; or what they have done, has caused irreparable damage to their future and this is just the way life is for them. Phooey, hogwash, nonsense, bunk, gibberish, baloney, poppycock, malarkey, hooey, rubbish, foolishness and jive talking! God wants you free, that s why Jesus died on the tree. He paid the price for you and me, so we could live daily in victory.

Welcome the Holy Spirit s Power in Your Life: John 14:16-17(NLT)- 6 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. 17 He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn t looking for him and doesn t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. - Acts 1:4-5(NLT)- Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before. 5 John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8(NLT)- 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Isaiah 10:27(NKJV)- It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil. The presence and the power of the Holy Spirit is available today to work in us and through us! ). The Holy Spirit Sets Me Free-Others Help Me Stay Free:

7 --- you got this, you can do this, you don t need any more help, oversight or accountability. You are strong enough on your own. -- Luke 11:24-26(NLT)- 24 When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, searching for rest. But when it finds none, it says, I will return to the person I came from. 25 So it returns and finds that its former home is all swept and in order. 26 Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. 1). Jesus identities the person as delivered Luke 11:20-22(NLT)- But if I am casting out demons by the power of God, then the Kingdom of God has arrived among you. 21 For when a strong man is fully armed and guards his palace, his possessions are safe 22 until someone even stronger attacks and overpowers him, strips him of his weapons, and carries off his belongings. The Holy Spirit Sets Me Free-Others Help Me Stay Free: 2). 8 Why do I need connection; why do I need a spiritual journey partner; why do I need accountability? ---- Ecc.4:10(NLT)- 10 If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. When we don t have the strength to stay up-we will not have the strength to get up. Ecc. 4:11(NLT)- 11 Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? We need partners who are free to continually nurture and guide us into lasting freedom. - Ecc.4:12(NLT)- 12 A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Future attacks are inevitable-partnership and accountability enables me to fight off the temptation to give in.
