2 What s included This product includes a full page and half page version of the story The Search For Supper. Print the version you want to use and laminate and bind for multiple uses. Page should be printed, laminated, and cut out for multiple uses. Have the students use the picture cards to answer questions about the story while reading. They will answer questions with regard to sequencing, positional words, days of the week, naming objects, and basic comprehension questions on the cards given. They can be used by nonverbal students as they make a selection. They can be used in a pocket chart, and also retelling tools.

5 The Very Hungry Caterpillar was in search for some supper.

6 He was ready to fill his tummy with all kinds of good food, but he had to find it first. Where would he look?

7 On Monday he looked for apples in the basket. He ate them, but he was still hungry.

8 On Tuesday he looked for pears on tree. He ate them, but he was still hungry.

9 On Wednesday he looked for plums over the bridge. He ate them, but he was still hungry.

10 On Thursday he looked for strawberries between the boxes. He ate them, but he was still hungry.

11 On Friday he looked for oranges beside the logs. He ate them, but he was still hungry.

12 On Saturday he was sleepy. He looked for a spot to make a cocoon under the leaf. He curled inside and took a long nap.

13 The next Sunday he woke up and saw that he had become a butterfly. He was so happy to fly above the clouds.
