1 Peter 3: 15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect ESV 1 Peter 3.15: But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear KJV
The Flood - Genesis chapter 6 9: These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. 10: And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 11: The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12: And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13: And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14: Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch. 15: And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
16: A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it. 17: And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die. 18: But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee. 19: And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female. 20: Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive. 21: And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them. 22: Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
The Testimony TEXT. And God caused Noah to build an ark. (Gen. vi ) EXPLANATION And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation." Genesis vii. 1. [the ark being a figure of the immortal Spirit] [the seed of the righteous being in the loins of the living earth] Year of the world, And the flood came and destroyed all but Noah and his house, being eight souls, (1 Peter iii. 20,) they being of the living earth, and a figure of the eighth thousand years, when Satan shall serve God. " Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." Matt. iv. 10.

200 myths studied 95% say a global flood 70% say people saved in a boat 57 % survivors landed in mountains
Logistics of using an Arc How Large Was Noah s Ark? The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits (Genesis 6:15). the Ark described in the Bible was a huge vessel. Not until the late 1800s was a ship built that exceeded the capacity of Noah s Ark. The dimensions of the Ark are convincing for two reasons: the proportions are like that of a modern cargo ship, and it is about as large as a wooden ship can be built.
The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits (Genesis 6:15).
How long is a cubit? The length of a cubit was based on the distance from the elbow to the fingertips, so it varied between different ancient groups of people. Here are some samples from Egypt, Babylon, and ancient Israel: Culture Inches (centimeters) Hebrew (short) 17.5 (44.5) Egyptian 17.6 (44.7) Common (short) 18 (45.7) Babylonian (long) 19.8 (50.3) Hebrew (long) 20.4 (51.8) Egyptian (long) 20.6 (52.3)
Which one is most likely to have come from Noah? In large-scale construction projects, ancient civilizations typically used the long cubit ([52 cm]). 2 Chronicles 3:3, reveals that Solomon used an older (long) cubit in construction of the temple. Most archaeological finds in Israel reveal the use of a short cubit, such as confirmed by measuring Hezekiah s tunnel. (Ezekiel 43:13) Ezekiel s vision, an angel used a cubit plus a handbreadth, probably a definition for the long cubit. The long cubit appears to be God s preferred standard of measurement. the original cubit length is uncertain, it was most likely one of the long cubits If so, the Ark was actually bigger than the size described in most books today, which usually use the short cubit.
Comparing the size of the Ark With the short cubit s measurement, we know that the Ark must have been at least 450 feet (137 m) long, 75 feet (23 m) wide, and 45 feet (14 m) high. In the Western world, wooden sailing ships never got much longer than about 330 feet (100 m), yet the ancient Greeks built vessels at least this size 2,000 years earlier. China built huge wooden ships in the 1400s that may have been as large as the Ark. The biblical Ark is one of the largest wooden ships of all time a mid-sized cargo ship by today s standards.
A place to call home The total available floor space over 100,000 square feet or m², more floor space than in 20 standard-sized basketball courts. The total cubic volume 1,518,000 cubic feet [462,686.4 cubic meters] equal to the capacity of 569 modern railroad stock cars.

The Human Races How did humans become the diverse races we have today?
Origin of the Races Many religions teach that there are three major races of human beings: The Black race - Negro The White race - Caucasian The Yellow race - Oriental and these three races came from the three sons of Noah: Ham Japheth Shem Specifically, according to this theory: Blacks came from Ham Whites came from Japheth Yellows came from Shem
In support of this theory the numerical match between races and the sons of Noah: the Bible says that all human life today comes from three distinct individuals Many religious teachers reject of this theory They say it is eisegesis, or reading a specific agenda into the biblical text, rather than exegesis, or letting the Bible speak for itself.
Some verses to consider Acts, chapter 2 (Joel 2:28) 17: : And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Deuteronomy 10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward: He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment. Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Romans 2:11 and Acts 10:34 For there is no respect of persons with God. [, KJV] Revelations 7 9: After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10: And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
The Table of Nations Sets the Geography how the descendants of Noah were scattered by God over the region
The Table of Nations Sets the Timing The Semitic peoples, descended from Shem, are present throughout history, descendants of Ham are prevalent during times of ancient Israel (2000 BC to 500 BC) descendants of Japheth are prevalent during future 'end times' of Bible prophecy.
The Bible distinguishes people by tribal or national groupings, not by skin color or physical appearance. Clearly there are groups of people who have certain features (e.g., skin color) in common, which distinguish them from other groups. All peoples can interbreed and produce fertile offspring the biological differences between the races are not very great. DNA differences small. DNA of any two people in the world would typically differ by just 0.2 percent. 2 Of this, only 6 percent can be linked to racial categories; the rest is within race variation.
Testimony Ham discovering his father's nakedness by eating of the forbidden fruit. (Lev. xv. 24.) And the curse followed upon all Canaan's posterity, the mark of that curse being blackness, (being the curse upon the body through the menses of the woman,) What is the blackness? Some say this relates to the black races Some say this relates to blackness of the heart and not to colour of the skin What about black people? There is a lot of evidence that indicates the black races came from Caanan There are many parts of scripture that do not support racism. God is not a respecter of persons

The Testimony And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation." Genesis vii. 1. Year of the world, the ark is a figure of the Immortal Spirit And the flood came and destroyed all but Noah and his house, being eight souls, (1 Peter iii. 20,) they are a figure of the eighth thousand years, when Satan shall serve God. 1 Peter iii. 20: Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 21: The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ
The Ark and Whitsuntide Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve." Matt. iv. 10. We need to enter into the Immortal Spirit to be preserved as the end approaches Whitsuntide is the time that reminds us of this goal Ask for the Immortal Spirit to cover us and protect us as the Ark protected Noah, his family and the animals
