4 Sholosh Seudot You Gotta be Kiddin Me Halacha Discussion David and his wife had spent years saving up to buy an apartment until finally they were able. They found an apartment that fit their needs and their budget. Before signing the contract, David went to his rav to ask for blessing. It s not far away, in a nearby neighborhood, on Refidim Street, David explained Refidim Street? asked the rav. I don t much like the sound of that name. The Torah tells us that when Bnei Yisrael camped at Refidim in the desert, they were attacked by Amalek. Perhaps that is an in auspicious name. The rav sent David to R Zilberstein shlita to ask if there was any problem with buying a home on a street named Refidim. What is the Answer?
