1 Matthew 24:3 When he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the talmidim came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that you are coming, and that the `olam hazeh is ending? Matthew 24:1-2 As Yeshua left the Temple and was going away, his talmidim came and called his attention to its buildings. But he answered them, "You see all these? Yes! I tell you, they will be totally destroyed -- not a single stone will be left standing!" Matthew 24:4 Yeshua replied: "Watch out! Don't let anyone fool you! 3 Matthew 24:5 For many will come in my name, saying, `I am the Messiah!' and they will lead many astray. Matthew 24:6-7 You will hear the noise of wars nearby and the news of wars far off; see to it that you don't become frightened. Such things must happen, but the end is yet to come. For peoples will fight each other, nations will fight each other, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various parts of the world; Matthew 24:9-10 At that time you will be arrested and handed over to be punished and put to death, and all peoples will hate you because of me. 4 Matthew 24:11...many false prophets will appear and fool many people; Matthew 24:12 and many people's love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah. 1 John 3:4 NASB Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. KJV Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. NIV Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 6 Daniel 9:27 He will make a strong covenant with leaders for one week [of years]. For half of the week he will put a stop to the sacrifice and the grain offering. On the wing of detestable things the desolator will come and continue until the already decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator." 2 Thessalonians 2:4 He will oppose himself to everything that people call a god or make an object of worship; he will put himself above them all, so that he will sit in the Temple of God and proclaim that he himself is God. Matthew 24:23-24 "At that time, if someone says to you, `Look! Here's the Messiah!' or, `There he is!' don't believe him. For there will appear false Messiahs and false prophets performing great miracles -- amazing things! -- so as to fool even the chosen, if possible. 7 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10 When this man who avoids Torah comes, the Adversary will give him the power to work all kinds of false miracles, signs and wonders. He will enable him to deceive, in all kinds of wicked ways, those who are headed for destruction because they would not receive the love of the truth that could have saved them. Matthew 24:29 "But immediately following the trouble of those times, the sun will grow dark, the moon will stop shining, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in heaven will be shaken. Velikovsky s Earth in Upheaval page 136 At the moment an earthquake would make the earth shudder. Air and water would continue to move through inertia; hurricanes would sweep ther earth and the seas would rush over continents, carrying gravel and sand and marine animals, and casting them on land. Heat would be developed, rocks would melt, volcanoes would erupt, and lava would flow from fissures in the ruptured ground and cover vast areas. Mountains would spring up from the plains and would travel and climb on the shoulders of other mountains, causing faults and rifts. Lakes would be tilted and emptied, rivers would change their beds; large land areas with all their inhabitants would slip under the sea. Forest would burn and the hurricane and wild seas would wrest them from the ground on which they grew and pile them, branch and root, in huge heaps. 8 Matthew 24:30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, all the tribes of the Land will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with tremendous power and glory. Matthew 24:31 He will send out his angels with a great shofar; and they will gather together his chosen people from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. 9 Matthew 16:1-3 Then some P'rushim and Tz'dukim came to trap Yeshua by asking him to show them a miraculous sign from Heaven. But his response was, "When it is evening, you say, `Fair weather ahead,' because the sky is red; and in the morning you say, `Storm today!' because the sky is red and overcast. You know how to read the appearance of the sky, but you can't read the signs of the times! Matthew 24:32-33 "Now let the fig tree teach you its lesson: when its branches begin to sprout and leaves appear, you know that summer is approaching. In the same way, when you see all these things, you are to know that the time is near, right at the door. Matthew 24:37-39 For the Son of Man's coming will be just as it was in the days of Noach. Back then, before the Flood, people went on eating and drinking, taking wives and becoming wives, right up till the day Noach entered the ark; and they didn't know what was happening until the Flood came and swept them all away. 10 Matthew 24:40-42 Then there will be two men in a field -- one will be taken and the other left behind. There will be two women grinding flour at the mill -- one will be taken and the other left behind. So stay alert, because you don't know on what day your Lord will come. Matthew 24:42-44 So stay alert, because you don't know on what day your Lord will come. But you do know this: had the owner of the house known when the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you too must always be ready, for the Son of Man will come when you are not expecting him. Alert Gray-gor-yoo-o To watch carefully.
