3 The So-Called Khilafah Da'isheeya (ISIS) All praise belongs to Allaah the Lord of all that exists and may Allaah send praise, security and blessings upon His slave and His Messenger our Prophet Muhammad and upon his Companions and all those who followed them in goodness until the Day of Judgement. To Proceed: In recent times there has appeared a sect in Iraq and Shaam which has given itself the label of 'The Islamic State', then 'Islamic Khilafah'. It had become well known by the word 'Da'ish' which are the first letters from its claimant name: The Islaamic State of Iraq & Syria. Indeed some of the youth have been deceived by this misguided sect, especially the young from them in the land of the Haramain (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and have followed behind their bleating and have thrown themselves into their midst. There are also from them who have not joined up with them but remained in their own lands receiving their instructions to carry out the plans of their crimes. I previously wrote a small article entitled: 'Fitnah of the so-called Khilafah of ISIS of Iraq' 2 which was distributed on the 28th Ramadan 1435 A.H. I mentioned there, that the youth are following behind their murmuring like that of sheep, waiting to separate from this life by blowing themselves 3 up or slaughtering them with knives, so I mentioned: I said: 'It is upon these youth who have followed the bleating of anybody and everybody from this sect to check themselves and to correct their way and that none of them should contemplate joining them, so they end up leaving this life by wearing an explosive belt or being slaughtered with knives which is a peculiarity for this sect

4 It is upon them to adhere to hearing and obeying the country of Saudi where they have lived and where their fathers and grandfathers live, under its authority with peace and security.' A few days ago two very young boys carried out a service to this Da'ish sect and fulfilled its criminal planning by blowing themselves up by using explosive belts in two Masajid in the eastern province [of Saudi Arabia] at the time of the Jumma prayer on the 4th and 11th of this month 4. They destroyed themselves and a number of worshippers and this is a vile action, it is not only criminal but it is extreme in its criminality, this becomes clear by the following points: 1 - Killing innocent souls unjustly is a crime from the most major of sins. What increases its criminality is by killing people while they are performing the prayer. 2 - The basis of a person being in the Masjid is that he is in a relaxed state of mind and with a tranquil soul. He is secure from any type of disturbance and fright, so what about if that surpasses to the killing of worshippers in the Masjid. 3 - If the Sharia' prohibits the killing of monks in a monastery as is mentioned in [the Hadeeth collection called] 'al-musnad' (2728) and in other collections, then it is foremost prohibited to kill worshippers in the Masajid. 4 - It is not allowed for a Muslim to kill himself with a belt of explosives or anyone else in any condition what so ever; this is due to the saying of Allaah Ta'ala: {و لا ت ق ت ل وا أ نف س ك م { And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another) [Nisa:29] 5 - The Sharia came with the prohibition of killing children during war as is mentioned in Saheeh Muslim (1731) and among those killed with these explosive belts were young children. 4 22/08/1436 A.H. 4

5 6 - This criminal act is a preventive from the path of Allaah and frightening those who go to the Masajid to perform the Jumma prayer. The matter has reached to the point that the question has been raised about the ruling of not attending the Jumma prayer due to security from these types of crimes. It is not allowed to not go to the Masajid generally due to a fear that something that rarely occurs. 7 - This criminal action is extremely evil to Islam and the Muslims because it is an execution of the plans of this misguided sect which calls itself: 'the Islamic State'. There is no goodness expected from them and this is not thought of in a [truly] claimed Islamic state, and this is due to the likes of these crimes [they commit]. 8 - Killing worshippers in the Masajid is a crime if it occurred any part of the earth, so how about it occurring in the land of Saudi where the courts judge by the Islamic Sharia and its country is the best Islamic country. 9 - The so-called khilafah Da'isheeya does not only limit its evil to the youth who are deceived by them and end up destroying themselves and others by executing their plans, but rather their extreme evil extends to the families of these youths and to disobedience to their parents as a result of what their children did That men resembling women and women resembling men is Haraam due to the saying of the Prophet-sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam: النساء بالرجال ««لعن رسول الله ﷺ المتشبھین من الرجال بالنساء والمتشبھات من 'The Messenger of Allaah - sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam - cursed the men who resembled women and the women who resembled men.' [Bukhari 5858] One of these youths who came to carry out his crime came in a woman's dress. 5

6 Concluding I offer my advice to every youngster who follows behind a mirage of this misguided sect that they take a concern with themselves and remain among their families far away from bringing harm upon themselves in the Dunyaa and the Hereafter. I ask Allaah Azza wa Jal to rectify the youth of the Muslims and guide them to the correct path. Also to give all the Muslims success for a result which can be praised in the Dunyaa and the Hereafter and to give this country [Kingdom of Saudi Arabia], to its rulers and its people the capability to do all good and to protect it from all evil, to protect it from the evil of the evil doers and the plots of the sinners, indeed Allaah is the All-Hearer the One who responds.
