1 Para 20 Amman khalaqa هل لا ع ا ه لا a ilȁhun ma allahi- (Is there any god other than Allah): Is there any creator of unpredictable huge universe, who attentively listens to the call of the distressed, guide in the land and sea, one who recreates, and one who provides sustenance; any deity other than Allah? If there is, then bring proof; if not then believe. Dead and deaf: Those who do not listen to the truth are dead and deaf and it is useless to make them listen. ا ر لأا Dȁbbatal arḍ (Animal of the earth): Sign of the Day of Judgement: an animal will be brought who will speak with people.

2 Terrifying blow: Everyone will be terrified when the trumpet will be blown except those whom Allah chooses to spare. Recitation of Qur ȁn: Recite Qur ȁn to people so that people can select for them the right for their betterment. Killing: Firawn was murdering the boys of the children of Isra їl, killing human is corruption. Means behind the scene: It was commanded to cast Mϋsȁ in the river to punish firawn. It was the initial stage of the best plan of Allah. Mother of Mϋsȁ: She put her child in sea obeying Allah, and Allah cooled her eyes by returning Mϋsȁ to her. Most mislead enemy: A Coptic was killed by Mϋsȁ in unawareness then he said

3 Hadha ذ م ط نم ل ض م ن ط ش م ه نم و د م ن ل ضم ن ي ب م min amalishshayṭȁn innahu aduwwu mmuḍillu(n)mmubїn (This is the work of shayṭȁn, surely he is an enemy that openly mislead). Supplications of Mϋsȁ: When Coptic was killed he said Rabbi innї ب م ن م ت ط لل م ه ط ن ط ط ام ي م ẓalamtu nafsї faghfirlї (O! My Rabb, indeed I wronged myself so forgive for me). He went towards Madyan then he said ذ سم ب م ن ش ط و م ء وم ي ض م asȁ rabbї a(n)yahdiyanї sawȁȁ assabїl ( Perhaps my Rabb will guide me to the correct path). When he sat in the shade ب م ن م ل ن ه ط ل م ي م ط نم طق م ي قم said Rabbi innї limȁ a(n)zalta ilayya min

4 kjayri(n) faqїr (O! My Rabb I am in need of whatever good you send down to me). Strong trustworthy: Mϋsȁ was given a job and got married to one of the daughters of Shu aib because of the qualities. Misleading leader: They lead towards the fire therefore it is necessary to look at that which one is calling towards. Giving guidance: It is in the hands of Allah ه ن م ا م ي ط و ت ط نم ن ط تي ط يل م - innaka lȁ tahdї man aḥbabta (Indeed you do not guide whom you love). Praise of Allah: There is only Allah s praise and thanks in this world and in the hereafter.

5 Arrogance of knowledge: Qȁrϋn declared the wealth he got was because of the accomplishment of his knowledge, and Allah sank him with his wealth in the ground. Real knowledge: When someone has it he looks towards the hereafter and is mindful of right actions. khayr - thawȁbullahi ء ب م ت ن م ط ا م (Reward of Allah is better). Destruction of Qȁrϋn: Lesson for the worldly people, Allah is the giver of the provision; those who will be pleased with what Allah provides them will enter paradise soon. House of hereafter: It is for those who do not like assuming greatness and corruption, and those who adopt taqwa.

6 Difference of good and evil: The recompense of good will better than it while recompense of evil will be equal to it. Destruction: Everything is perishable except the face of Allah. ط نو م ن م ا م د ط ه نم Kulla shay in نضم hȁlkun illȁ wajhahu (Everything will perish except His face). Test of faith: It is the way of Allah that He tests to verify the claim of belief. Striving: One who strives for a good cause will benefit him and Allah is free of need of anyone. Rule of obedience: Do not obey the command to do shirk even if it is by your parents. ال ا ع م خل للخ لام ىلف ة ل ع م قخلاخلا la ṭȁ ata limakhlϋq fї ma ṣiyatilkhaliq.

7 Centre of love: What are they? Temples, shrines or mosques? Who are your friends in social circles and what is being shared? Untrustworthy woman: Wife of Lϋṭ faced the torment; a relationship cannot save from seizure if one does not have faith and good deeds. Seizure of Allah: People of Shu ayb, ȁd, and thamϋd were all seized. How can we will be saved if disobey Him? End with wrongdoers: Those who are not regular in their prayers will have an end like that of Qȁrϋn, Firawn, Hȁmȁn and Umayyah bin Khalaf. House of spider: The protectors other than Allah are as weak and unstable as the spider web.

8 Importance of knowledge: Knowledge is necessary to understand the examples given in the Qur ȁn. Witness of the truth: The whole universe is the witness of truthfulness of Allah and sign of oneness of Allah but only believers can understand this. Let us struggle to gain the knowledge of identification of Allah and recognition of hereafter.
