(اسم اهلل السبوح) AS SUBBUH 3 - Names of Allah Sunday, 22 January 2017 INTRODUCTION Knowledge can be a reason for deviation. e.g. - Science can be a reason for misguidance & deviation. Without Guidance from Allah, a person can deviate to start his own religion! The best protector is by knowing Allah because knowing Allah answers all questions with the best of explanations. Knowledge like Chemistry or Physics, for example, have mysteries and limits. Our knowledge about the Universe is limited - for no-one knows what exists beyond a certain point in the Universe. Knowledge on science is limited too e.g. we do not know why a sickness occurs or why the tailbone is created in the body. Science cannot many things in life. However, the Names of Allah explains everything with answers to limitless questions. Even the Quran explains everything. e.g. Question : Why did this happen? Answer with Allah Al Alim, or Allah is Ar Rahim' - to explain that things happen because of Rahman from Allah. Our mind cannot possibly know why certain things happen in science, or in life but Allah Al Ghafur, Allah Ar Rahim explains the mysteries in science and in life. As Subbuh answers many questions raised by people in life - e.g. Why do killings happen? Allah As Subbuh' is the answer. Believe in this. We need to glorify Allah, & remove negative thoughts & bad thinking about Allah. In life, when we do not know Allah, we have so much questions marks. Our Knowledge of Allah & the Names of Allah will explain many questions which nobody has an answer to. e.g. Day of Judgement. Can anyone answer this? No-one can answer this because it is unseen. e.g. About the Ruh - how much do they spend in 1
science in their search to capture the ruh! whereas none knows where the ruh is & noone knows how to capture the ruh. Why search for something not suiting you? You do not need to know if Allah has not revealed it to you. If it is good, Allah will make you know it. Many Knowledge are not known to us because we have no need to know it - because Allah know it is not good for us to know it. e.g. The heart is unknown to us - it is inside & ghaib / unseen for a reason only Allah Knows best. Imagine dealing with people with transparent hearts. Result will be that no-one will want to even look at one another. When Allah Chooses not to reveal some knowledge to us, then it is for our own good not to know it. Names of Allah explain so much which some people cannot explain. Knowledge of Allah develop us as real humans so that we can go to Paradise. Names of Allah As Subbuh is worthy of glorification by all the creations of Allah - necessitating us to magnify Him, to glorify Him & to remove all imperfection which may cross the mind about Allah s Majesty. Deny negativities on why something happens, why this falls, etc. Don t ask. Just turn to As Subbuh - why stress yourself without reason? By remembering Allah, the heart find rest - otherwise, the life feels like it is full of hardship. To have a good life, know Allah because this results in no stress in our lives. Names of Allah will answer all questions in the right way. You think of a person who is violent but so rich! Names of Allah of Allah will explain to you : Because Allah is Ar Rahman, Allah is Al Alim, Allah is Al Halim & Al Hakim. This is the stop for you. You need to stop in life not because of people are watching you but because of Allah. AS SUBBUH (continued from last week) Allah As Subbuh is the best answer for anything which your mind cannot answer because your mind cannot know the right from the wrong except when Allah Tells us. Al Kawni - Many Universal Command of Allah, incidents in the Universe are not explainable by the limited brain. Even when we put all the brains together, we remain limited. Just say : Allah As Subbuh. We cannot explain many things in this Universe e.g. Why does this planet appear? Why are there Jinn? Just answer, Allah As Subbuh - everything is perfect. 2
Many of the Decree we go through is not explainable. Why do we meet a person? Sometimes, you meet a person only once in your life, like he is like a guest of honour. Like actors in our life, some people stay in your life all through but some people come into our life like an actor acting only in one screen. Why? Because Allah is As Subbuh. Not random - meeting people, even once, has a reason. Why do our eyes look at something? There may be so many other things around us, yet your eyes notice this one thing. Answer is Allah As Subbuh. There is a good reason for our eyes to look at this. We need to benefit from everything. Say SubhanAllah - meaning I need to free Allah from all imperfection which can arise in our brain. And Al Shar ee - Many people have problems with legislations which Allah impose upon us. Why is this haram? Why so many rules? Just say Allah As Subbuh. All His Decree is free from fault. And as for, Recompensation - you ask why is there so much reward for acquiring knowledge? ( i.e. Allah grants Forgiveness when we acquire His knowledge ). Why is there punishment for broken silaturrahim? - Answer is Allah As Subbuh". We can use every Name of Allah in every step in our life & every situation in our life. One situation can be answered by every Name & Attribute of Allah. This is Dhzikr ( Remembrance of Allah) i.e. to PONDER, REFLECT, THINK. We need As Subbuh - negating all imperfections and negativities pertaining to Allah. Allah As Subbuh is free from ever being out of order, or disabled or to ever be static! Allah As Subbuh is free from these imperfect conditions. In (SURAH 55) Surah Ar Rahman, Allah Says ( in meaning ) never is Allah static, even for 1 second. 3
(ي س ٴ ل ه م ن ف ى ٱلس م و ٲت و ٱأل ر ض ك ل ي و م ه و ف ى ش أ ن (٢٩ Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He is (engaged) in some affair (such as giving honour or disgrace to some, life or death to some, etc.)! (29) Compare to humans : There are peak hours & quiet times for a working person ( e.g. at the airport ).There is time to relax, to sip coffee, or to read . There is even time doing nothing. But for Allah, as stated in Surah Ar Rahman, He is always in some affair even though all His creations will ask Him for something ( doa ) all the time. Allah is in some affair at every moment, never doing nothing. Allah Takes care of His Creations even from before Creation, SubhanAllah. People ask, Allah Responds - there is not a break at all. The Jews said that Allah made Heaven in 6 days & rested on day 7!! whereas Allah As Subbuh is never tired - He does everything perfectly & completely ; and yet people contribute imperfection to Allah! We as His slaves should magnify & glorify Allah before praising him. Every day He is (engaged) in some affair (such as giving honour or disgrace to some, life or death to some, etc.)! (29) - Affair here is when Allah raise a person, enrich someone, give health to someone, etc. Allah affairs are perfectly take care of by Allah. The scholars said, it is ajaban / a miracle that the King of Kings is taking care of His servants while he ( the servant ) is sleeping! How Allah is Al Qayyum - taking care of us while we are disabled when sleeping. Allah is As Subbuh, so He deserves that you glorify Him & deny any imperfection of Him. In Surah Al Ambia* - (و م ا خ ل ق ن ا ٱلس م آء و ٱأل ر ض و م ا ب ي ن ہ م ا ل ع ب ني (١٦ We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them for a (mere) play. Allah never stops managing the Heavens & the Earth even for a moment. If He wants, He can take it as a game. Although with full Power & Authority, He never Created His Creations for play eventhough some people do think this!! They think we are play! Decree is play! Allah does not Create for play. Allah Creates Everything for a reason. The Sun & Moon never asks for a holiday. Ants, bees & all animals never take a break - they have a job & they fulfil it. The mountains never gets a holiday from being the pegs of the earth, nor does the sun stop from rising or setting eventhough we humans do not deserve all these. Everything ( the sun, moon, mountains, etc) is never static so we must ask Allah that we humans are not static (lazy), & not to be a couch potato (lazy). Look at all of these & wake up! All spotlight are on us, humans. Yet we have times when 4
we are not doing anything. We are the main creation, all are working for us, have Paradise made for us - yet we have static times, lazy moments. We have things we should do and yet we do not. We waste time watching TV, and some just have no momentum in life! Miserable life. But we humans must NEVER TAKE A BREAK from WORSHIP. Allah As Subbuh is free from being sukuun or is free from being static or being disabled in any case or any time. Allah Al Hayyu Al Qayyum. We must glorify Allah & negate all imperfection for Allah As Subbuh from being sukuun. Ibrahim alaihi salam said to his dad not to pray to idols which do not speak, and do not move, etc. Al Munazzah As Sukuun mu athal fi hal au waqt Allah As Subbuh is free from being sukuun, from ever being out of order, or disabled or to ever be static! ALLAH : FREE FROM FAULT & FROM BEING SUKUUN. He takes care of all His creation at the same time. He is Responding, Decreeing, Disposing affairs, etc. at the same time. Allah takes care of everything even before there is creation ; even the atoms, ants, air, etc. We need to glorify Allah. He alone is worthy of SubhanAllah and it is good for us. Sometimes there is a holiday. Before the holiday we will see traffic is full on the road, & people get busier finishing up any pending work before they stop ( for a holiday ). The holiday comes & everything stop - work stops, not able to pay bills. etc. Allah needs no stop. This benefits us, humans. Having no rest however is out of the human capacity. We humans need a holiday, where we take rest from work. Allah needs no stop. Hence we need to worship Allah As Subbuh. We sin and always ask forgiveness directly from Allah. One should not sin a lot, & then just confess to one person!! Forgiveness is only for Allah to give us - so ask forgiveness ALL the time directly from Allah. And when we sin, it is better to ask Allah for forgiveness immediately. There is no sukuun for Allah - He is always working, needing no rest nor sleep. Allah Al Hayyu al Qayyum, rise above the Throne in manners suit His Majesty, and is taking care of everything in His Dominion. We magnify Allah in our ruku and sujud with Subhana Rabbi al Adhzim & Subhana Rabbi al A la - so negate all imperfection in Allah. 5
As Subbuh alladzi yasabihuhu kulla man fi As samawaaat wa al ardh Allah As Subbuh is worthy for all creation ( except the disbeliever ) to glorify Him. Angels always glorify Allah / yusabbihuun because people always think bad of Allah. e.g. There are ships & foolish people are the ones who make a hole in the ship. But if these good people has no time to fight these foolish people, these good people will sink with the foolish ones. Humans disobedience, killings, evil, etc can cause our earth to sink or to collapse. So Allah make His Universe glorify him, to contra whatever the disbelievers do. Allah make Creation which glorify & magnify Allah. If not for these glorification (which neutralise the evils on earth), all will collapse because earth cannot take so much bad. And Day of Judgement will come. They glorify Allah to undo what we do in sins. If not for this Subbuh, the disobedience, the killing, the mushrikeen can make you sad, & can make you collapse - so just be sabr with what they do - hold yourself by yusabbih bihamd bi rabbik - tasbeeh i.e. glorify Allah. That is why Universe always glorify Allah because of the disbelievers doing so much harm. Allah is free from what they are doing. All are tasbih even with no sin - all worship Allah because Allah is more than I deserve with ibadat. Say SubhanAllah many times morning and evening, all the time. Even with my worship, say SubhanAllah, because Allah is more than what I do in ibadat. Names of Allah is the fuel for our life, the remedy for our problems of our lives. Names of Allah make us happy in life. As Subbuh amma yaquuluhu al kaafirun wa al mushrikuun Allah is free from whatever disobedience, lies, association with other partners, etc. which people do. These evils will not harm Him. Even with the whole world disobey, 6
disbelieve Allah, nothing will harm Him because He is As Subbuh. Nothing can affect Him. Rasulullah salallahu alaihi wa salam said : If all world is all wicked, it will not decrease anything from Allah s Dominion and Majesty. Because Huwa As Subbuh. e.g. If someone hears abusive words ( like you are majnun/crazy or you are a liar ) the whole day, she will start to go crazy or she will start feeling like she is indeed a liar!! But Allah As Subbuh is free from being affected by what they negatively say of Him. So be careful what you hear regarding negativities in the Youtube, or in lectures. Just do not hear or look at things that will undermine you. Check out on the speakers before you follow their talks because you do not know the ways of shaitan. You are not subbuh, so be very careful. Say SubhanAllah. Our duty is Tasbeeh Allah - remove all imperfection from Allah. Allah As Subbuh, Glorify Himself even when no-one do it. Allah Praise Himself even when no-one praise Him meaning that is enough. He is the Self Sufficient Master. Names of Allah - we need it, Allah do not need it. Our Tasbeeh do affect Allah - what we do in tasbeeh do not increase Allah or decrease Allah. ( We are the ones who need these tasbeeh ). As Subbuh make you swim towards Allah - no banging, no sound - but to swim smoothly, without kalimat, & with no turmoil. Push all obstacle, & deny all bad things & swim towards As Subbuh. When we say Subhana Rabbika Doa tasbeeh, we need to purify our utterances, our mind & our actions for As Subbuh. When we say As Subbuh, we need to remove all bad & purify ourselves from bad thinking, bad heart, bad utterances, bad actions, just to be worthy of being close to Allah. How do we go to Paradise if we do not purify ourselves? So when we purify ourselves, & we do so much glorification, e.g. in ruku & sujud when we say س ب ح ان ر ب ي ال ع ظ يم Subhaana Rabbiyal-'Adheem. Glory to my Lord the Exalted س ب ح ان ر ب ي األ ع ل ى Subhaana Rabbiyal-A 'laa. 7
Glory is to my Lord, the Most High. Sunday, 22 January 2017 & the doa in ruku & sujud : Subhaanal-Malikil-Quddoosi. (Glory is to the King, the Holy). Rabbil-malaa'ikati warroohi. (Lord of the angels and the Spirit.) And after ending a majlis, we say : Subhaanaka Allaahumma wa bihamdika, 'ash-hadu 'an laa 'ilaaha 'illaa 'Anta, 'astaghfiruka wa 'atoobu ilayka Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise is to You. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You. And the doa of opening the solat : س ب ح ان ك الل ه م و ب ح م د ك و ت ب ار ك اس م ك و ت ع ال ى ج د ك و ال إ ل ه غ ي ر ك " Subhaanaka Allaahumma wa bihamdika, wa tabaarakasmuka, wa ta'aalaa jadduka, wa laa 'ilaaha ghayruka. Glory is to You O Allah, and praise. Blessed is Your Name and Exalted is Your Majesty. There is none worthy of worship but You. 8
