1 10 ways TO INCREASE YOUR RIZQ

2 Build your connection with Allah SWT Imagine having a direct link that takes your connection directly to Allah SWT. The stronger the link, the stronger your connection will be and whatever you do and whatever you asked for will be immediate! We need to work hard on this link so that we are chosen to be among the special ones who rely on Allah SWT in every single aspect of life and Allah SWT responds in every single need or attention that we require. That link is build by our Nawafil actions and in particular our Tahajjud. There are countless risalah about the importance of this ibaadah and adhering to it will not only benefit us in the short term but also in the long run. Allah SWT Says in Hadith Qudsi:...and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (voluntary deeds) until I love him, so I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My Protection, I will protect him... [ Bukhari ]

3 Making Taubah and sincere repentance We need to wash our hands from the sins that we commit every day and to make sure that it remains clean whenever we make our doa. Sins are like stumbling blocks that prevents our doa and from being heard and answered. The more we clean it, the better our chances are insha Allah! Allah SWT Says in the Quran: I said (to them): 'Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; (10) 'He will send rain to you in abundance; (11) 'And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers [ Surah Nooh, Verses ]

4 Thanking Allah and expressing Shukur The act of thanking Allah SWT is paramount in achieving more. We need to reflect on how well Allah SWT has provided for us even if we feel inadequate. Look at those who have lesser than you and ponder on what would have happen to you if Allah SWT were to pull back some of the ni mah that we are currently enjoying. Allah SWT Says in the Quran And (remember) when your Lord proclaimed: "If you give thanks (by accepting Faith and worshipping none but Allâh), I will give you more (of My Blessings), but if you are thankless (i.e. disbelievers), verily! My Punishment is indeed severe [ Surah Ibrahim, Verse 7 ]

5 Spending in the way of Allah SWT What we have is never ours in the very first place. It is only a loan given to us from Allah SWT for a set period of time. Nothing last and nothing is ever permanent. However, what is permanent is what we give for the sake of Allah. It ends up in our account in the akhirah and we may withdraw the result in the hereafter. The more we give today, the bigger our account will be later and Allah SWT mentioned that He will replace and reward us in this temporary world as well insha Allah. Allah SWT Says in the Quran Say: Truly, my Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and (also) restricts (it) for him, and whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allâh's Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers. [ Surah Saba, Verse 39 ]

6 Establishing the ties of kinship We seek the pleasure of Allah SWT by fulfilling our responsibility that are due to our brothers and sisters. They have rights over us and fulfilling their rights and strengthening the relationship between one another will only increase our provisions in return. Abu Hurayrah RA reported that the Prophet Muhammad SAW said: Whoever is pleased with the fact that his Rizq be increased, and his life-span be extended, then let him establish the ties of kinship [ Al-Bukhari, # 5985 ]

7 Having a powerful and effective Doa list Its not just good enough to have our needs and wants in our head. We need to write it down and to be able to see it and understand it clearly. This doa list will be a visioning step before the actualisation. Read it and ask Allah SWT repeatedly like a 2 year old child asking for a candy. Ask persistently and have a BIG why behind the things that you are asking for. The underlying WHY may just be the turning point. Nothing is impossible for Allah SWT. It is only our imagination that stops us from believing in this. Rejoice my brothers and sisters, for our doa can travel where our imagination cant. So don't stop asking and don't give up because Allah SWT can make it happen. I want to be successful in this venture SO THAT I CAN HELP OTHERS and in return, seek the pleasure of Allah SWT more and more.

8 Guarding your Ibadah It is our duty as His slaves to submit and to worship Him and seek His pleasure. We simply have to do what a slave is ought to do. How can we expect to reap the bounties when we do not deliver the bargain on our end? It is also a sign of arrogance when we take and consume whatever Allah SWT has given us, and keep on asking for more but in return we ignore the call to obey and worship Him. Abu Hurayrah RA narrated that the Prophet Muhammad SAW said: Allah says, O son of Adam! Take time out to constantly worship me, I will fill your heart with contentment, and remove your poverty, and if you do not do so. I will make your hands constantly occupied but I will not remove your poverty. [ Musnad Imam Ahmad, Tirmidhi 2466, Ibn Majah Authenticated in As-Saheehah ]

9 Truthfulness - honesty & fairness in trade and business The truthful transaction will receive barakah from Allah SWT and earn His pleasure along the way. It is only natural for Muslims to behave in such transaction. It is in our nature to do good in every field that we venture into. Our honesty will leave a mark on others and can serve as daawah to those on receiving end. We are not what we say, but what we do. Prophet Muhammad SAW: said: The two parties of a transaction have the right (to annul the contract) as long as they do not separate (from each other). So, if they were truthful (to one another), and honest in explaining (the defects of an item), then they will be blessed in their transaction. But, if they lied, and hid (the defects of an item) then the blessings of their transaction are destroyed [ Muslim, # 3836 ]

10 Working hard to achieve Ihsaan The DNA of a Muslim is to be in pursuit of excellence in whatever we do. The ability to feel the presence of Allah SWT and the feeling of being monitored 24/7 will only encourage us to do our utmost best in order to be accepted by the Almighty. Working to achieve Ihsaan will result in changing you from the inside and out. Changing you from the average lay man into a goal getter who will try his utmost best in whatever he does because only the BEST is worthy for Allah SWT. Ihsaan is perfection, Ihsaan is the most beautiful, Ihsaan is the best of character and discipline, Ihsaan is trying your best to achieve success, Ihsaan is the peak of all that is best and done only for the sake of pleasing Allah SWT.

11 Tawakkul Tawakkul refers to putting your trust in Allah to believe that He alone can ward off the harms of this world, provide you blessings and sustenance, and to ease your challenges. Tawakkul is also about accepting the results that He decides regardless of how they may turn out to be. Part of Tawakkul is striving and working with the attitude that Allah will take care of your affairs and will help you in getting through your trials is part of you having the Tawakkul on Allah. Having Taqwa is the root cause of Tawakkul and the higher your level of Taqwa, the higher your level of Tawakkul will be. Umar Ibn Al-Khattab RA reported that Prophet Muhammad SAW said: If you were to put trust in Allah (Tawakkul) the way that Allah deserves, then you would be provided for as birds are; they leave (in search of food) at the beginning of the day famished, and return at the end of the day full [ Sheikh Al-Abani Silsilat Al-Sahihah, # 310 ]
