Today, we celebrate the blessings of Allah subhanahu wa ta ala and are grateful for the community s support for An Noor School in helping achieve the following milestones: - 54 graduates who have memorized the entire Qur an - 75 full-time students on their path to becoming Hufaadh/Hafidhaat. - Nearly 100 students learning in An Noor s after school programs - Countless Raka at of congregational prayer led by students/alumni. - Taraweeh prayers led in over half dozen Triangle masajid. - Hundreds of hours of volunteer work and community outreach - Outstanding academic achievement - 100% college matriculation As we plan for the next 10 years and march ahead with istiqamah (steadfastness), An Noor School aspires to become one of the premier Islamic institutions in this country. 4 Celebrating 10 years of An Noor Qur an Academy Our mission is to establish as institution that will nurture a strong connection with the book of Allah, the Glorious Qur an, through its memorization, understanding and implementation, and to develop well rounded future leaders who are guided by the Qur an and Sunnah.

5 Hifdh and Islamic Studies Our students spend 4 hours each day memorizing the Quran. Our low teacher student ratio ensures that each child gets the attention he/she needs. Developing the love of the Quran Through motivational techniques and positive reinforcement, our teachers strive to provide a nurturing environment to allow our students to foster a bond with the Quran. Multiple Juz completion ceremonies, AB Honor Roll parties and prizes ensure that students are rewarded for every accomplishment and develop a sense of pride in their identity as American Muslims. Excelling in Academics Our full time academic curriculum includes instruction in Math, Language arts, Science and Social studies and our students consistently excel in the National Terra Nova exams. Our Alumni have a 100% high school graduation rate and have entered universities like Duke, UNC Chapel Hill and NC State.

6 Learning beyond the classroom At An Noor, students are provided with opportunities to take learning beyond the classroom. Changing the environment allows them to think on different levels. They learn positive behaviors at the Poe center, have interacted with Cisco employees to learn finance at the Cisco Campus and have perused the The Art of the Quran at the Smithsonian Museum. Clubs like the Al-Kahf Club and the Nasheed Club allows them to explore and develop their talents. Project based learning through Science Fairs, International Fairs, Spelling Bee, and Model building

An Noor has also collaborated with Al-Hirz Institute to create a unique program for advanced An-Noor students and Huffaadh An-Noor Alumni. Students are learning about da'wah and effective strategies for Qur'an memorization and review.
